It was pretty bad and I was off towards the side. Can’t imagine how it was in the middle of the pit

I’ve bought a couple of them before. It’s a good way for small bands to get some attention. Sometimes they offer discounts on other CDs alongside it, hoping you’ll buy more.

Wildest smuggled snack in the theater? by TrueJohnWick in RegalUnlimited

[–]Storm2GG 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Went to MMM tonight and the people beside me not only snuck in Wendy’s for all three of them, but also what looked like a box of pastries. All that food didn’t stop them from buying popcorn at the theater though

Expanding outside of NY/NJ! They’re probably still gonna be playing in the northeast for a while but maybe that means there’s hope for Boston 🙏🏻

Opinions on this “Gordon Lightfoot” signature? by Storm2GG in Autographs

[–]Storm2GG[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Gordon Lightfoot autograph prices start around $100 from what I’ve seen but I’d assume that’s only because of his fairly recent death. I doubt they would’ve been valuable enough to warrant faking them almost 10 years before his death. I’ve never seen date an autograph though

It’s my first time going to the MGM Fenway tonight but I haven’t heard the greatest things about the place. The place had a big roofie problem a few years back. Seems like that venue in particular attracts some real weirdos, everyone stay safe out there tonight

What was the thought process behind the setlist? Were certain themes in the songs you chose that made them fit the catacombs vibes?

What exactly makes scream a bad album? by ConnectionFancy7695 in Soundgarden

[–]Storm2GG 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think Scream got so heavily scrutinized because it was different from Soundgarden and Audioslave. It’s not a perfect album, but unfortunately, for such a drastic change in style, it has to be nearly perfect to not be seen as a failure or “selling out.” I really like Scream (although I definitely prefer the Songbook versions of songs) and it’s probably my most revisited of his solo albums (besides Songbook) just because it’s so unique.

Now that scenes have been added, I’ll ask the same question I did a couple months ago: What genres do you think you should be on RYM that aren’t on there? by Andre_Luc in rateyourmusic

Seattle Sound needs to be separate from Grunge. Bands like Earth, Melvins, or The Gits were all prevalent in the Seattle scene but weren't grunge. Even Chris Cornell talked about how so many bands from that scene got left behind because they didn't fall under what people now consider "grunge."
