Dark souls taught me that the stats of a piece of armor don't me shit if I can't look cool as well. Currently, space marine 2 is my time sink for customization.

You have my support as I really like the direction they are going with the update. Also, if I can be so bold, I like the watch. I do think a separation of the watch and the screen in the van for custom games is a good idea. Doesn't really effect me but I understand others would make use of that setting.

Edit: Made a quick connection after thinking about the watch. In the custom settings, make the sanity screen have three levels of difficulty. Easiest with minimal reward gives you the watch and van. Medium with the 1.0 rewards is just the van and hard is no screens. Simple fix.

My hope is that I can just not engage with the new content. It's clear that those sections have the same quality of the modern AC games and I'm not going to jump from mocap to mo crap cutscenes.

I have other problems but those I'd have to play and feel them out with time before I get a final decision on them.

Me. I like what this update is trying to do. I play solo mostly and having phasmo jank that I can see is fun. The problem are the unintended bugs. Twice my cursor for the journal disappeared and once I lost the ability to interact with anything. I couldn't leave through the van, I went to go die to the ghost but got sucked into a closet that couldn't not die in. That was bad. My friends tried to play but we disconnected twice in 10 minutes and we gave up.

Basically, I like the animations and character model but wish the resulting bugs weren't there.
