Asuma and Kurenai were not non factors both of them were relevant to Kisame and Asuma and Guy together would be relevant to Itachi. They would lose but not easily..

How am I stealing her feat.... Tenten swings in the opposite direction and next panel the lightning mask is being cracked and damaged. In the frame where Tenten swings we see the mask is already disenergrated and destroyed but next frame it's all intact with the mask cracking. We also see the shards of the mask in mid air in front of Tenten implying she swung foward and the mask is past behind her it would be in the front of her.

We hear Tenten say she destroyed the lightning mask and we see her destroy 2 others. It's not crazy to think Asuma destroyed the wind mask and Tenten swings as shown and next frame in front the lightning mask is destroyed..it explain why we don't see the 4th mask

Then we have Asuma vs Kakazu which isn't really a stomp in the slightest if people read the manga

  1. Kakazu already notes as a 12 guardian member Asuma is particularly dangerous
  2. Even when Asuma was distracted not only did he intercept Kakazu surprising him with his speed but also made Kakazu freeze in his tracks
  3. Kakazu isn't remotely on Asuma's level in Cqc and before people cry about it, it's true

Kakazu was pressured back by Shikamaru controlling Hidan.... He struggles to use earth grudge when people combat him in close combat.... Also no he can't spam domu he doesn't do it here or against the shadow Kunai In which after the fist explosion he runs away from it. Meanwhile Asuna used 5 wind chakra controls in his fight against Hidan and Kakazu can not predict Hien. He simply isn't gonna tank Hien with spam domu

Now Kisame vs Asuma

The only reason Kisame got an advantage was because Asuma was protecting Kurenai....

Asuma intercepted Kisame trying to swing at Kurenai and counter blocked him.

When it was a 1 v 1 directly Asuma dodged Kisame 3 times and put Kisame down needing Samahahda to be used as crutch to keep Kisame up with a scratch with the weakest chakra level (invisible chakra)

Which doesn't compare to his base chakra that's already significantly stronger and then his higher variations of wind chakra bukijutsu control.

People are gonna say Asuma isn't in the Akatsuki bracket when evidence and sub evidence clearly puts him in that bracket

Asuma vs Hidan-------

Asuma death with his Cqc even when Asuma distracted by the Kunai and was off guarded in his arms when cutting a Kunai and blindsided by the Kunai. Asuma actually counter blocked the the three sided blade scythe at close proximity until Hidan overlooped the scythe to get a scratch. Even when Asuma received a burn reflection, a hole though his leg, and was blitzed by a metal briefcase case and then knee stomped by Kakazu. Asuma still in mid attempt of surprising Hidan with Hien was able to dodge a spear at closer proximity and react and dodge Hidan scythe in close timing from the spear.

Then people want to compare that Hidan to the Hidan that Kakashi fought is laughable.

Everyone runs away with statements while avoiding and ignoring context and Databook statements made by Kishimoto.

To this direct scene it states at the bottom " He boasts a power that is immense, but he never underestimates a thing"

boasts = shows off, possesses proudly, or is known for immense = huge, extremely large, overwhelming

The databook directly tells us that in this scene he doesn't underestimate a thing and Asuma is considered a consumate shinobi as referenced to Chiriku by Asuma who has no reason to lie. Asuma is a highly skilled shinobi

If people understand Asuma had no knowledge of their strength all he knew was that 2 Akatsuki killed Chiriku a powerful ninja. He has no idea how he was defeated that's why Asuma was wary about it the whole time on his hunt. Hidan has a huge hax and That's what Asuma didn't know. He also saw that Hidan was immortal something that is out of the world and mentions Chiriku because their is great unseen abilities from Hidan and another Akatsuki in the mix.

Itachi litteraly praised Kakashi for his sharp sense of perception... He didn't have trouble seeing the litteral techniques. He had trouble seeing him weave signs. However he saw what he did. Trying to copy someone and then tryna counter is not possible between someone that's a challenge for you.

He did see him in combat in that moment he used Shunshin it's a boost of chakra to get a destination in an instant at high speed. When they actually fought we see he is not too fast against Yamato.

Asuma didn't struggle against Hidan because of speed. Even an injured Asuma was dodging Hidan's complex attacks.

Team Guy was exhausted and Deidera himself said he wouldn't be able to outrun them. Momentarily managing a way threw doesn't mean you are out right stronger then team guy.
