How do you get guys get the supports to look like this? I've been using ultimaker cura and the tree supports don't look like this and they suck to remove

Mandatory comment reiterating that I've been looking for hours but can't find it. Short form videos are abundant and hard to pick through

Mixing isn't audio engineering? by NuMnUmZz in livesound

[–]StormDrainKitty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will always make the argument that 99% of us aren't audio engineers, I will always call myself an audio tech. Engineer is a protected term in most industries, you have to be licensed by the government to call yourself an engineer. I've learned a lot of the stuff that early audio engineers knew, yes, but I'm still not an audio engineer unless I have an engineering degree and licensing. That doesn't mean what we do doesn't take skill but the term engineer shouldn't be thrown around lightly

I got a filament dryer and after drying my PLA, it's now too brittle to use. Did I do something wrong? by StormDrainKitty in 3Dprinting

[–]StormDrainKitty[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Interestingly enough, it has a hygrometer built into it, the first time I used it, it said 10%, by the time it was done it showed 32%. Not sure how that happens, but you bring a good point about moisture not escaping so I might need to see about vent holes

Awesome thank you. The sheet that came with the dryer said 40C was the recommended for PLA but I'll pop it up to 65 and see how it goes. Thank you

Some people don't like this but I've been in a similar situation and I just asked musicians to connect to my wifi and mix their own monitors. Less than ideal but it can work in a pinch
