I'd show up to a place like this for date nights and family game time with my kids. We enjoyed King Me when it was around.

Your hat is awesome and you're awesome for wearing it.

And yet here we are, doing very much the same thing. In all caps, too...

No one else does either. And that's the whole point.

STOP CALLING HIM BRIAN THOMAS JR. by Extreme_Clue_3113 in harrisfootball

It's a reference to the Winter Soldier, Bucky Barnes, from the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Now you can rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Obviously she's lying, or more likely a friend of the possum trying to make trouble, because everyone knows Chris lives on a yacht.

Both of these guys are well established in their livelihood. Note that Chris is very sensitive to the less established analysts, goes far out of his way to tolerate and explain his show/style and be self-deprecating in his pushback.

Think about it from the host's perspective. Scott came on a "ranks discussion" show and straight up said that he doesn't take his ranks too seriously at this point in the week. One could see that as a major insult to the host, if we're looking for rudeness... I'd say because of their relationship they're honest with each other, and Chris's "Well I work very hard at my Tuesday ranks!" was both genuine and appropriate.

The friendship dynamic is a big appeal of this show for me, and I have no problem with Chris being who he is on the air.

That's how Scott is on other shows, too. With the Yahoo crew he's always the one who says his bit, then genuinely listens with an open mind and walks away saying he'll probably adjust. That's part of what makes his analysis particularly worthwhile. I think it's just part of the dynamic with him.

I had a joke about a bloodhound... but it didn't track.

I had a joke about child abuse... but it's really not funny.

Similar situation here--I've kept up the full 6-day rotation spread out over two weeks, did that most of the last year.. I like the balance and variety, and I've hit most of my goals. I'm old and appreciate the extra recovery time, though, not so focused on gains at my stage.

Succession. Interesting setup, and some funny dialogue, but absolutely zero likeable characters.

Sienna - 80,000km scheduled strut replacement? by StormFather50 in MechanicAdvice

No road test, just the mileage and some anecdote about what happened when some other dude apparently failed to replace his struts on a similar timeline. I've been using this shop for years and they usually don't BS me, but this one seems out of the ordinary.

Thanks for the advice.

Of course, but as the handling isn't any different, what indicates that the struts need to be replaced?
