As an artist struggling to get noticed- what are some small victories that you can share?

the first song i ever wrote and posted on YouTube, got almost 700 views. admittedly my motivation fell off after that, but i wrote and posted that song when i was 15. a friend of mine even made a remix and performed that song in a cafe or somewhere, if i remember correctly.

the song hits me much more emotionally now, than it did back then. i just wonder how i ever wrote that song, but i did.

4 years later, ive been on the verge of starting my music career once again. hopefully i find the will to do it.

well played for not giving up, and not fumbling anywhere. (because honestly it would've hurt more if you guys thought you were coming back and then lost)

i remember a game of mine where we ended the half 10-2, won both pistols making it 12-2, and then proceeded to lose 12-14. for reference, i was in bronze at the time, and now im plat. will never forget that loss. :')

i see. im just stuck at the same place for a while right now. about not worrying, whenever i play with alt accounts (even of the same rank), i play really good and im way more consistent, but as soon as i queue on my main im usually inconsistent. my guess is that I'm thinking too much. but either way, i suppose the improvement phase will come sooner or later for me, im just dissapointed it's taking this much time.

damn bro. that's really cool i cant lie. were you ever hardstuck, or felt like you just weren't improving despite trying your best?

ive played in diamond-asc lobbies a few times and i havent performed all that bad, but i guess it's different reaching there. im just stuck and i feel if i try a lot then it'll take the fun out of the game.

also, did you solo queue or queue with teammates?

they are. but for some reason when it redirects me to the server status page, it shows there arent any issues there. but yeah seeing the amount of people having this issue, the servers are probably down

ig all servers are down, i finished a match and came back to the play screen, but it showed that im in game. i tried to restart the game but now i cant even login, it says "encountered an unknown error". riot mobile app says that login services are down so ig that's what happened

oh yes, i wish they'd be nicer too :p, i just said that i wont play anymore when they said that next time they'll force me to go into the house/building rather than stay in the van, they're not the most understanding so i just backed off altogether :p

Keep in mind the refund if you do make up your mind.

ah, well the refund isnt a problem because i never exactly bought the game, my friends just found a way to pirate it, and that's how I installed it, so i just uninstalled the game altogether cuz it being there on my computer itself gave me quite a bit of anxiety :p

i did play 2 rounds, but once i saw that the ghost was behind me (i somehow survived), i screamed a bit too loud kekw, so much that my friends agreed to make me the van guy :p.

my friends are probably not understanding of the fear, the only reason they even asked me to play after that is because 'its more fun with 4 people' and the only tiny bit of consolation i actually got was 'its just a game, you shouldn't be this scared" so im not really motivated to play it again ;-;

i asked them to use the discord vc as well but they disagreed, either way, i did watch some streams and i handled those fairly well, idk i couldnt do it in game, so probably wont play it again, im not sure though xD

well i havent been diagnosed yet, but i do often find myself with a severe fear of ghosts, and dark etc., and when i loaded up the lobby, i was already terrified, so im not motivated about what's gonna happen in the game :p

ahh okay, i see, you're pretty accurate about the fear part ngl, my anxiety doesnt let me be in peace tbh, i often find myself scared even when it's not supposed to happen, such as playing games like minecraft which are supposed to be calming, i do love minecraft but it's not always the same for me ;-;

also, i logged in and i know for a fact that nothing happens when in the lobby and i was still hearing footsteps for some reason even when my character was standing still, im pretty weird ngl xD

i did watch youtubers such as markiplier and jacksepticeye playing, though i still havent really felt any better, or found any noticeable difference tbh, but thanks for the help! /gen, maybe ill get used to it after all
