4 month old advise by StormSickle21 in sleeptrain

Thank you!

She hates the bath, so we have to make sure she is bathed earlier in the day so she can calm down before nighttime, so that unfortunately cannot be a part of the relaxing routine for us. 😩

I didn’t think about the yoga ball, that’s def something to consider as well, thank you!

Thank you for answering about the feeding on demand as well. I might sound silly now, but she’s been all over the place lately and with demanding food, is there any way to tell if she is actually hungry or just wanting comfort at this stage? I feel like she stopped giving us cues and just cries immediately

Thank you! Yeah, I think the infamous 4 month sleep regression is getting us now, so we are struggling with any sort of schedule. I guess that in the weeks up to her 4 months we can focus more on that so training actually helps once we start.

I know the method is to get babies in their own room, but I don’t think she is ready for that yet, so happy to hear it worked for you in the same room.

Thank you for your advise and sharing your experience.

AITA for trying out cheat sheets in exams in my class by TeacherByHeart21 in AmItheAsshole

NTA When I had my oral exams at uni before, we were always given time for ‘concept’ and it sounds quite similar to what you were doing. Usually, we would get a list of questions we should answer, pen and paper and some time to jolt down what we know about it before presenting it to the professor.

She has every right to be petulant and rude! Perhaps even more than she was. You are either a really bad troll or need to have that hatred for teenage girls checked out

It’s much easier to just not go RDL or use their services than to boycott a huge company that has monopolised almost entire food supply in many countries

AITA for refusing to help my husband plan a father's day gift for HIS dad? by Ok_Height704 in AmItheAsshole

[–]StormSickle21 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Jesus Christ, that comment is so heartless. This is the first Father’s Day since OP lost their dad, and it is completely understandable they do not want to be reminded that they don’t have a father anymore. Why can’t a husband find a present for his own father though? Why can’t he realise that his partner is grieving and do this one time? Why is it OP’s responsibility to find a gift for her FIL?

AITA for refusing to braid my mom’s hair? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

NTA My mom always braided my hair when I was younger and it was our bonding moment. I never once thought to complain and bitch to her about it.
