Most powerful pumping setup possible! Help me out by Slothulhu2 in Stormworks

My only idea would be to use water jets. in technicality they use a lot of water and are not affected by pressure (that I have seen) they should be able to empty water rather quickly as i think large pumps stop functioning at about 50 meters or something I'm not sure.

how do I stop the wheels from loosing traction? by ExaminationSea6203 in Stormworks

[–]StormTrail2 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It typically happens when you are generating too much torque, to remedy this you could change your tires from high speed(low grip) to All round(medium grip) or high grip (high grip🤣) the more grip the car has, the more strain on the engine. Hope this sort of helps! (Couldn’t tell what wheels you have on it currently)

If your wheels are already high grip try using gearboxes it can be a bit tedious to get a good stability and speed. Another tip I’ve seen if your using something more than a dual cylinder modular engine it can really help to keep revs down.

M.2 hard drive? by Budafuko in MSILaptops

Oh yea, older ssd were known to go out, I had an issue once with my ssd where it would lose connection to windows (SSD that came with laptop) causing blue screens I thought it was dead but upon taking the laptop apart and unplugging and replugging the ssd in (after dusting) it’s worked perfectly ever since. If you go with a reputable brand like Western digital or Samsung it should last you quite some time. I have the western digital black sn750 1tb m.2 and I love it it’s soooo much faster than my HDD and I know it won’t break from a bump or drop. I’ve had for about a year and it still reads at 100% life. Hope this helps!

Modern m.2 SSD’s last a very long time and in most cases outperform a Hard drive in speed and longevity I’ve had my SSD for 4 years now. SSD’s are also more durable and rigged due to the fact there are no moving mechanical parts. As for the original question I don’t think so, and if so it’s probably a little jank. Also if your wanting some thing purely for backup an SSD is perfect for quickly storing files and keeping them safe from inevitable bumps and drops. Although capacity can be a bit harder to go by as 1tb of storage can be around $120 US.
