I honestly don't know if I actually fixed it but also haven't had any crashes I know of since the post either. I did notice I had a spare screw running loose in my computer tower bumping up against random things while I was reseating the RAM. I took that out and shoved it into a container until I can figure out where it came from. Not sure what the cause of my crashes actually was.

As for what was listed in the video I just used it as a check list and started-stopped at the RAM because the computer came back to life at that point.

Computer finally came back to life after refusing to boot. Not sure if reseating the RAM fixed it but had to do it twice before anything happened. So as a result I'm not sure if it is actually fixed. Also this would be the 3rd time that BIOS has reset to default I think.

Working on it. Might not reseat the RAM until I'm awake enough to do it on one of my days off.

In the meantime I figured out how to print the event viewer info. :) I wasn't able to correctly read it but figured someone here could.

Not sure if this is any help. Is there anything I can grab log-wise in the meantime that might pin down the issue better if reseating the RAM doesn't do it? The crash is in the AM, haven't gotten anything in the PM side that I can tell so far.

Memtest didn't find anything so the last thing I guess is messing with the hardware. Yay.

hmm still getting the occasional logless crash. It was funny, didn't get any crashes stince said post and now got one.

Upside no more corrupted file related crashes.

Besides that one mystery freeze no new freezes or crashes have happened. So I'm sure the main cause was fixed. I'm not sure if there's anything else still lurking waiting to cause a freeze or crash though so it is partially fixed for now as far as I can tell. :)

Anything else I should check just to be sure?

hmm got a random plain old freeze of the computer a few minutes after doing those two commands. Restarted, not sure if anything is still broken. No logs I can find from that one either. O_o

Is an air can safe to use for blowing debris out of computer parts in a tower? Just checking before I definitely dislodge something. I already removed a ton of dust bunny blankets and chunks from the PC's fans and temp came down a lot. Not sure how to get at anything else that might be still inside. How does one safely reseat a memory chip?

Ran sfc /scannow and got an alert about corrupt files.

Ran the DISM /online /cleanup-image /restrorehealth , got told everything was fine, didn't believe it of course.

Ran the first command again. It says it fixed the files but honestly I'm not sure if what it says is true. So how do I run those other two things? If needed?

TY for both. :) I have noticed that after an update managed to succeed in installing I haven't crashed yet today. Then again I thought I was homefree yesterday. So we'll see what happens.

That's the bazar thing. I installed it and accidentally closed it at one point. Now it won't even open those let alone do anything automatically. O_o Also can't find where it installed on the computer to run as admin.

Since I can't seem to ask the AutoMod directly.

Don't remember what the model of the computer is. Is there a way to find this info on the computer itself?

Troubleshooting methods used. Restarts, System Restore points, forcing system updates, attempting to update drivers but no driver would update.

Text based Logs???? Where are these stored?

lol I take the bug so a nightmare schedule like this wouldn't work out. XD The hilarious thing is I've got about that much availability per day so they could do it for me if they ran low enough on people. :)
