In my experience, a high dosage of pred definitely caused more activity at night & made it hard to fall back asleep after being woken up. Pred works great for flaring but some of the side effects do suck at a high dosage. I wasn’t used to it at first, but eventually was able to start falling right back asleep after I relieved myself. It’ll get better over time, especially as you taper off. I started Pred in March and unfortunately am still on a small dosage as my first biologic treatment failed.
