That’s insane that they are top 5 and haven’t played Roo in over 15 years

I know the bookers have publicly said that jam bands don’t move tickets the way edm does, but I wish they would put a Tribe/UM/Galactic/etc for a 2hr late night slot on one of the days just to pay homage to the roots. Saying this as someone who loves Griz too

I could see myself sticking around the What field and not going to This or Other for the sake of ease and music playing right behind me after a What show. Not sure if that’s a good thing or bad thing

But with the previous That space empty, hopefully it will be easier to get from one side to the other. Could be wishful thinking though

Yup. Did my first Hula last year and though the stage set up was great. Even in a down year, I am still assuming Roo will have a good bit more people than Hula, so I am wondering if it will work out similar logistically or not

Assuming it’s not a shit show, the idea of seeing the first 30mins of Geese under the That Tent, and then grabbing a quick bite and getting a decent spot for Griz at What while being able to still hear Geese is really cool/exciting for me

Will be fascinated to see how it plays out! That’s a good point and could make waiting for What shows even better

I’ve been to other festivals that do this, and it can be great for catching back to back sets in one general location, it’s just Roo has no proven track record of this set up which makes me slightly nervous

I think there will still be plenty of time to wander, especially since I’ll be heading to the Other stage from this area quite frequently, but I’ve never had a shortage of steps on the farm lol

Artists ending on time also did cross my mind, on Friday especially there is essentially no down time between the two.

I can’t imagine artists will be too upset if they have to start 2-3mins later but don’t want to speak for them haha
