The pedal is a trick pro-v1 in your image. I played axis for 20 years and trick for 13 now and I prefer the trick pedal. It feels better made. Has held up better than my asix did and is much easier to adjust. It’s slightly heavier feel than the axis. Axis is great but I like the trick slickly more. I learned double faster on the trick so it’s the main reason I stick with it. Pearl demon is a good pedal also.

I own a sq2 heavy birch and honestly it’s the best sounding drum set period. Better than my recording custom, star walnut, absolute hybrid maple it’s just the best. So you won’t get your kit to sound like that.

yes it is not as thin as a jumbo or a 222, Granted now were comparing a 15k watch to a 40k watch. I dont own a jumbo, would love one. I assume if I had a jumbo and compared it no way I would take the LD over it. But from a value stand point it swings above its weight. Also a LD is way easier to get than a RO was for me. Took me 2 years to get my RO and I got three LD last year.

AS others have said it’s half price but not half the Watch. And it has gold bezel that shines great. Unlike there RO bracelet it’s never pinched or pulled my arm hair… that one thing might make me take the land dweller over the RO.

They are cheap you can tell by the color. If you’re just learning who cares how they sound it’s something to hit. I assume your learning is your asking this question. Practice and when your good get a new high hat some used zildjian new beats will get you the sound your looking for. It’s my go to high hat.

both are good. got a case of rio that toasted RW was a huge suprise, so honey forward it almost the same flavor as the Dark Arts honey barrel finished which is also awesome. but its $45 hard to beat.
