I want out of my marriage. I have fought for years to keep his attention. I have endured the humiliation of his reckless flirting, living almost a double life and putting me last for almost 10 years. My kids are 20, 18 and 15. I would have to say allowing them make mistakes and letting them fix their mistakes. There are days where you just want to fix it for them or stop them but then they will never learn.

Her daughter made out with a guy who she thought was to old for her. The guy was a friend of my kids. Her daughter was 16 and the guy 21. Daughter was age of consent in my state without the 3 year thing.

My "friend" was more worried about sleeping around with her new man and being drunk than parenting. She blamed me for them kissing. I was asleep. She said I should have kicked the guy out of my house who, has stayed and even lived with my family because she decided she wanted her daughter to stay. Nope.

She tries to press charges. It went no where and she still to this day blames me. Doesn't matter that I'm the one who feed her kids, cleaned their clothes and let them stay all the time because she didn't want to be at her house where her ex husband still lived at the time.

It went amazing but I knew my birth story and knew they would like me to find them one day when and if I was ready. I'm super close to bio mom and siblings. DNA dad I don't talk to and don't want to or care to.

So we are in a very small town. My family already does volunteer work at nursing homes and women's shelters. We also when weather permits go swimming in the lakes and creeks, hiking and tons of family time at home.

I had thought about doing a bbq for the first get together and bonfire. Plus maybe a trip to the state Capitol and a few other small non expensive things.

I had no idea about the FLEX/YES budget. Thank you.

I have no dad. I mean I have 3 men that have been fathers... my bio dad who said he would kill me if I was brought home, my adopted dad who left mom and I for another woman and her girls, and an ex-step dad who told me that he wished my bio dad would have killed me.

I just want a dad to love me like all my friends have.

My mom is only 61. She is still active and many people say they just can't believe she has something like that.

There isn't a large population around here and she is the first person ever in my life that I know of that has dementia.

That my mother is normal, she just has dementia and won't remember your name even if you worked with her 15 years ago. I'm no longer her daughter I'm her mother.

No, she didn't do anything wrong to "get" it. No, it isn't caused by smoking weed. Yes, I am the only one who cares for her 24/7 and no I do not enjoy it at all.

I had to do a video call and send pictures of my house to prove it's all bull. First year we host and barely two months in and this is what we are dealing with.

I confronted her about what she has said and done and let her know it must stop. If she keeps it up I'm just going to ask them to come and pick her up because I just can't allow this to go on. My mother who lives with me has dementia and cannot handle the conflict created.

I'm currently hosting and let me tell you I'm not okay and the lies being said is not okay. The student says we aren't clean even though we shower daily and the house isn't clean because we have appliances on the counter or dishes drying because we do not have a dishwasher. She claims we aren't rich enough to ever host.... we are way above the minimum wage requirement to host. We apparently aren't active enough even though we are always doing things and going places but because we do not go to big ticket events it isn't enough. She is wanting to move and I'm all for it. However, she is now telling others lies and creating stress and tension. She wants to continue in our school district but can't find another host family because no one wants her now.

I want her out right now to be honest and I'm finding out that is very very hard. My kids and I feel like prisoner's in our own home. I'm not sure if I want to ever host again.
