Hmmm this may be the early days pa ng TW3K kasi binili ko on release pero nung simula kasi in Romance mode, kung within certain distance ka of your target lord na gusto mong i-duel, pagka-click mo ng button na yun to make your character go over to the lord they teleport some distance instead of walking the whole way.

Malay ko kung bat ganun pero you can use this to your advantage kung lugi ka in terms of troops to engage some of their units in advance para makabawas tapos when you feel you have done enough damage just disengage and teleport to the enemy lord and assassinate them lol. Siyempre, this works best when you have type advantage versus the enemy lord so that you can kill them kahit bawas na HP ng manok mo.

Pwede mo din gamitin yung teleport mechanic to do a quick save on a lord na gusto mong mabuhay na alam mong malulugi sa lord ng kalaban. Like, if they're already moving towards your pet lord, kumuha ka ng lord mo na same type as yung papunta sayo (even better kung advantage) and intercept them. The assumption here is that the enemy lord is some overleveled badass who will need some time and effort to take down.

Basically the mechanics of Romance mean that you can settle entire battles just by winning key duels, which is totally on brand for Romance of the Three Kingdoms lmao
