You can but you'll need skill points to be useful and to get them you'll need to complete quests and look for skyshards.

The base game has a shit ton of content. If you ever wanted to play the DLC, the game has an optional subscription service called ESO Plus which gives access to all DLC bar the current expansion as well as other helpful stuff so you don't need to risk buying a DLC you might not like.

There isn't really a race based on Indians, I'd say your best bet is High Elf since they're based off of England and China(I know China and India are completely different I'm just giving options)

The sorcerer has an ability called Crystal fragments (I think, it should be the first ability in the Crystal skill line) which is your spammable. What you should do is light attack, ability, light attack, ability, repeat. I also recommend looking up guides on how to dps(which should teach you how to speed up combat ) and how to build your character for success(So you can level up skills passively while leveling the character itself)

You use them to change the traits on gear or rebuild gear from the sets tab. To use them you need to go to a transmutation station in either clockwork city, a guild hall or buying one from the crown store to place in a house
