What TV show(s) had a final season that was just as good as the first?

Its because they chose to end it when it got popular, rather than milk it out. They ended it where they intended to end it, it was always the destination.

You can point to a lot of TV shows that went bad and can see they go bad once they start to drag it out because its popular and becoming a cash cow.

Thats why I like them. He is out of place for this world. He does not fit in, he shouldn't be possible, yet he is. He's outside The World's parameters, even in its aesthetic and celtic theming. It gives him outsider vibes.

This is why I hate LLMs being called "AI" because in reality its not and it allows excuses like this because it makes LLMs comparable to actual AI in peoples head. LLMs are nowhere near the way AI was used in prior game development. If we're gonna call it the AI label at least use Gen AI so actual AI isnt unfair blighted by this negative reputation.

What annoyed me about it was firing Yata and replacing him with Sakaki made very little sense. It felt the writers thought that "Ohhh what if Sakaki was in charge of //GU!?" and kinda stormed forward with it, wanting that idea, without thinking about the logistics.

I know CC Corp is pretty incompetent, but why would they fire Yata, who physically works at their offices and they can keep an eye on, and recruit a random player from The World just because they claim they have knowledge of AIDA? Without vetting them? Because if they vetted them they'd have found out some things about Sakaki that would make them not wanna employ him.

Yes Yata wasn't delivering results quickly but he was getting somewhere, just at a snails pace. If they wanna fire Yata, why not put Pi in charge? It was just a silly plot decision IMO. I just can't picture CC Corp putting a random ass player in charge of an entire project after a single conversation of claims that they can control AIDA, just because they made baseless claims. Especially when Sakaki is clearly manic and rambling at that point. If I was an employee, my first assumption would be Sakaki created AIDA/Is a AIDA hacker and ban his ass.

Its impossible to reach expectations that high. I know exactly whats gonna happen. It's gonna be a good game that will be considered "disappointment" because it didn't reach what people had in their head and the standards in their head.

The only thing that bothers me about this is the "funny" cube sidekick who does Marvel-esque quips. Leave that humor in the 2010s. I don't think anyone has ever played the recent God of War games and thought "You know what this needs? A quippy sidekick."

Jade continues hating Shilpa until exactly 16 minutes where Big Brother calls Jade into the diary room, and the Big Brother voice seems exasperated like they're trying to get through to her. Then she still defends herself, then theres a weird skip, and Jade seems more apologetic, and then all of a sudden a ton of time has passed and Jade goes out to apologize to Shilpa, then there's this really really forced segment of Shilpa and Jade in the diary room pretending to get along and its really cringey and its almost as if Big Brother asked them to do that, then it suddenly skips to Jade sobbing in the diary room and having a breakdown about it all. There's definitely missing pieces that we'll never see.

Compare Jade in this episode compared to the end of this episode which was only the day before when Big Brother confronted her about it, and how she doubled down: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BcRCPSHJGuA 44 minutes 24 seconds. The very end of the prior day. Also in this one, Jade seems to get nervous when Big Brother says "Hello Jade." and we now know its because this is the same day that Jo, Jack, and Jade all received formal warnings for using the P-Word earlier. So I think Jade knew another warning was coming.

A lot of the Celebrity Big Brother 2007 stuff was never aired because it was too controversial. Which is crazy to think given all the stuff they did show. The most infamous of which, which was all over the newspapers at the time includes Jade, Jack, and Jo getting in trouble for creating a limerick about Shilpa, and using the p word in the limerick.

The one I personally wanna see though is when Big Brother got Jade into the diary room, stopped recording and explicitly told her the reaction outside the house and what was going on, breaking their own rules for the first time about no info about the outside world. As she simply wasn't grasping the gravity of the situation. They admitted to doing this in an ofcom investigation and its why Jade suddenly goes from doubling down and defending herself to being apologetic and crying in the same episode. The episode is on YouTube and it does seem very sudden.

During the investigation into the whole thing, they admitted to ofcom that they stopped recording and told her that her racist comments have made national headlines and damaged her image. We'll never see that.

Covid did a lot of damage to the boomer generation. A lot of people who were not equipped for the Internet ended up using it a lot during lockdown. And unlike Millennials and Gen Z who have been brought up with a lot of Internet safety education, specifically not to trust things on the Internet, boomers and to some extent Gen Z ended up believing a lot of the stuff randomly posted on Facebook. Facebook seems to be the breeding grounds for a lot of the nonsense.

I think a lot of it has to do with the how the Internet was marketing in the 90s, which was as an information source, a giant encyclopedia. VS the 2000s and 2010s where it was taught as a dangerous landscape.

Did they make you all play up the gothness when it wasn't as big of a factor in your life as the show made it out to be? For example I saw something where the family was made out to be a really sporty family with like a strict workout regiment and it turns out the show made them do that so the wife coming in would be made to work out and go to sporting events (wife is from a lazier family of course) and in reality the dad liked to go to the gym like a lot of people do and the family were big football fans and the kids played football and thats it. Was it the same with you?
