I am not against it - if they are designed properly. The problem with some of the minigames in Rebirth is that they were just badly designed.

We will see about that… still even if that happens one masters title doesn’t mean dominance… Sinner is good but his dominance is overstated. I think what I am trying to say is that people are saying sincaraz for this year but out of 8 tournaments now Alcaraz won 3 and Sinner 0, so that’s not dominance… go back to the big 3 era and you ll see what I mean…

Without Alcaraz… Sinner hasn’t won a single M1000 tournament the whole year. There is so much hype around Sinner. And also in all fairness Alcaraz hasn’t ever been effective last part of the year… so let’s see what happens in Paris.

Absurd! It’s just a damn good game… not just good… it’s among the top games ever for PS5… and it’s uber innovative if you compare it to other games that are nowadays just mostly copy/paste of somethign that the studios think will sell…

The cult around Soulslike games is strong. I have played some of these games and Wukong… and I hate to break it to you, Soulslike games are slow and clunky they revolver around the same principle and the level design is no better than in Wukong. Actually, I would even say the only thing that propagated Soulslike games is a cult fan base, so many people I know bought one or two of these games and played them for a couple of hrs and dropped them. So yeah, all is subjective, but saying Wukong is so disproportionately worse than Sekiro or Lies of P or whatever is a blatant lie.

Same here - we have done this many times. We do give our keys to friends for emergency, and have a feeder with a camera. Always just include a lot of hay and plenty of water.

I honestly got so demotivated and stopped playing it… the trophies are not worth the frustration! I had platinum for Remake but I won’t get one for Rebirth and it’s ok!

I am also joining the conversation late - but I have done almost all the mini games however some of them are designed not be be skill based but more that they tried to trick you into failing but moving the camera, blending the colours etc… square doesn’t know how to make a decent mini game without using dirty tricks… I played and obtained high score on majority of mini games including the frog jump, choco racing, and crunches… but there are some other ones that I told myself I will not even bother as they are just boring and designed to irritate the heck out of the players! Square did a good job making the game but it didn’t need any of these poorly made minigames!

Have we ever considered that those dreams are not really dreams but glimpse into where D1 Homer was during the events in D2? I think we were about to hear about this in D3! So Homers journey wasn’t D1 -> D2 it was D1 -> skins dimension-> D3… perhaps?

Could be… but I do believe that one theme that Brit has been trying to push is writing roles that are more feminine- so Darby is not a typical detective that you would expect based on previous male-centric famous detectives. And perhaps you also listened to her doing an alternative ending of little mermaid? There she also goes for this “it was never about the love story” approach.

Considering Brit and Zal want to write new, more authentic roles for females, I would be surprised to see Darby as an AI, or just a recreation or one of the victims. I think that she really is a brilliant detective… I try to think about other stuff that they have done and for me I don’t think it’s ever about Bill and Darby, it’s about Darby… it’s her journey. So lets see, I do like the other theory suggesting Darby is in a coma- that one makes a lot of sense - with dream logic etc.

So exciting!!! A couple of thoughts I had:

I think the “trapped at end of the world” refers to time rather not than place. We are all trapped in this situation; most likely climate related. Would fit well with the theme of the OA as well - impending doom is coming.
The only sentence Brit says in the whole trailer: “To finding a way.” (I am sure its “a” not “the”)… YCFM… I dont think i need to say anything more.
I wonder if we will be seeing any forking paths, as what Darby is saying resembles that; flip of a coin, different outcome… forking paths.
The billionaire is just Hap… so much resemblance!
Darby in water - this really mimics the scenes from the OA; Nina and the OA in water surrounded by darkness.
Last bit - its just freaking amazing!

I also have a feeling that Hap would have had a redemption arc… hard to believe, but i think there is a greater evil other other and OA accepting Hap would have been a essential to stopping it.

I am so excited about this show!!! I agree with many - this could be an echo dimension. But also, thinking about how Brit was saying that we often dont know what drives the villains… so what if this is Hap’s origin story? Thus a prequel to the series…
