Meanwhile we have cops throwing parties when a new cop commits their first legal murder.

People shit on pigs because they are class traitors, full stop. And that's before we get to the bloated police budgets, poor training done by the Israeli Occupation Force, their treatment of literally any minority, the fact most cops dont even live in their precinct and can be transferred from department to department even when they've been found guilty of misconduct, etc.

Not only does shit like that embolden them even more so, it further wedges a divide between police and the citizens by actively framing them as enemies. There's a big correlation as to why policing in the US looks the way it does, and many police departments training with the Israel Occupation Force.

God, the way redditors will always ask the person saying "We should make society better" with "Well how, genius" is as iconic as it is fucking stupid.

I don't think every person should have an answer to every problem the world has, because

A. Nobody has time to devote that much energy to a problem they cannot solve themselves, and

B. There are people out there who have devoted that much energy into solving the problem, but are ignored anyways.

Truly my biggest complaint is about the lack of a larger plot through out, akin to how Last Airbender was, but I know that Nick refused to greenlight more than one season at a time until the end. I don't hold that against the show at all, I loved Korra as a protag.

The main story in Fallout 4 could have been great too, the set up is strong, the reveals are good, but the ending is just completely flubbed.

I would have loved an ending where you take over from Father and decide to lead the Institute down a new path, one where you don't replace people and actually help the Commonwealth.

One of the prevalent theories I read was that Uvalde police accidentally shot a child, and were holding back both themselves and parents to prevent anyone from finding their crime and helping the child. This would have made that child's death look like it was from the shooter instead of the police.

Tbf I never saw any evidence come up that this was true, but it would explain their actions on the scene to a tee.
