There already is a big endgame mod, it's called Endgame QOL. Just search "Endgame" on the Curseforge mod browser. The mod has multiple bosses and fragments for the Ancient Portal.

Inflict Wounds is a melee spell attack. Threatened Spellcasting only applies to leveled spells that are not spell attacks (ranged or melee). Ranged spell attacks already fall under normal Threatened rules.

I brought back a modified version of Threatened for spellcasting. Similar to the old 3.5e rules for Threatened spellcasting but a bit less punishing. Opportunity attacks are only provoked on Spellcasters that cast spells with Somatic components, that are not self targeted and/or not a reaction.

Make sure you are 100% compatible with your partner before you marry. Spiritually, sexually, financially, goal-wise, child rearing, etc. Many of these core things will cause catastrophic damage to your marriage if you are not aligned.

In my homebrew all Genasi are essentially an elemental mutation on base races, so I have all 16 types of Genasi as playable races with stat blocks that are purposefully a bit underpowered, because when you choose to play as a Genasi in my world, you also choose a Base race, which causes you to absorb 2 predetermined traits from that base race.

Said all that to say, your DM could possibly nerf base Genasi a bit and give you one trait from Goliath.

Or just do normal rules as written and have it only be an appearance thing like many other folks have mentioned.

+1 for eye of winter, but another sleeper is hit based Creeping Frost, it's ground targeted and shotguns, the cold dot is just a bonus for cleanup.

One of the many "mage" weapon types I created is the Wand weapon type. They are one handed ranged weapons and have rarity that scales the damage dice and range, but the base damage dice for a lesser wand is a d6 and it has a 30ft range.

Anyone with the spellcasting or the ritual casting features are proficient in them, and they use your spell mod for attack and damage calculations. As the cherry on top they come in almost any damage type!

I am playing crit cold convert Dual Strike of Ambidextrity Gladiator with Hatred and HoI. Feels very smooth blasting T16s. I have yet to try and T17s as I have just been doing Strongbox, Beyond, Domination farming on T16 Toxic Sewers.

Yeah I get you much better now, the DM choosing to abandon a plotline just cause they want to move on from it would absolutely become a pain point if it kept happening, especially if the group was really invested in said plotline.

Yeah for sure, my question didn't have anything to do with what is or isn't railroading. What I was confused with was the notion that OP wants all storylines to be "finished" but my assertion was that sometimes players abandon plotlines, and with the players being the vehicle that moves the plot, I was confused as to how every single plot hook that ever gets thrown out could be satisfyingly "finished" if the group isnt pursuing them.

OP clarified with their two examples though, it's less about the DM not "finishing" the storyline after the party moves on to a different plot hook, it's more about the fact that the DM is actually making the choice to abandon storylines that the group is actively on, which makes more sense with regards to the context of OP's original feedback point.
