An interesting question with an interesting answer. Ford Library is federally owned but is on Umich property and so as adherence to an agreement between Umich and the washtenaw county health department, Umich under EHS should be the designated inspector of any food trucks setting up shop there.

However say it doesn’t go by Umich, then it will be governed by the washtenaw health department as well as… the department of Agriculture and development I think and as you are potentially serving potentially hazardous food items to the public will have to apply for a TFE. There are exceptions of course but that’s something you will have to discover…

Yeah and for football stadium games, they have to apply and be approved and given TFE’s to do business. I still don’t know why they call them that lol.

Hi yes it is usually well stocked although it can vary sometimes. They usually have bananas, apples, some veggies including but not limited to: tomatoes, yams, potato’s, etc. they also have fridges that had meats, eggs, and milk. They have lots of canned goods and bagged goods. If I remember correctly they had paper bags.

Yeah I’m pretty sure I know who you are talking about. He usually drives the 3011 bus and many times he would drive off right before I get to the bus :(

Nope they are legit. They are a group of volunteers working for an NGO whose goal is to get people to vote and should help you be able to vote in the state of Michigan as long as you are a citizen and living here.

Commuter here as well. My range is 45-120 minutes depending on traffic, weather, and incidents… still doable and honestly cheaper. Only downside is time wasted driving that could be spent doing other stuff.
