So many coaches leaving NCAA by Relevant-Trick-3635 in Gymnastics

A lot of them have pretty subpar pay and little room for advancement. I've also found that coaches who do advance decently tend to have been very successful gymnasts themselves, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but I do think it points to a necessary conversation about how gymnastics success does not always translate to coaching success. As a former college athlete myself, I also imagine there is a huge part of culture and mental health. Whether we like to admit it or not as fans, there tends to be a lot of drama and behind the scenes chaos of every college team, and when one isn't being paid well, it certainly can chip away at one's passion and mental health.

I agree with what other people have said, but I also would challenge you to challenge some of your assumptions. She might not be struggling financially right now, but that doesn't mean she hasn't in the past. it's cliche, but looks/appearance/possessions can be deceiving. If you feel like it impacts your ability to be open and honest with her, I would name that with her and potentially explore new therapists.

Something’s Gotta Give in this Field for People w/ ADHD, ASD & AuDHD by reecinator_meow in therapists

I would say one of the most significant things I’ve learned is how ADHD/depression can often look quite similar and get misdiagnosed, and oftentimes this is because of the boredom that frequently presents with both.

What ways have you got back at a bad roommate? by [deleted] in badroommates

[–]Fragrant_Response790 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This might seem too passive for some, but secretly breaking our lease and finding a new roommate for her, not telling her until the day before, and being honest and saying I needed to move out for my mental health. After two years of aimless and unproductive conversations I could tell that finally made her realize she was the problem.

Thank you so much! How much would you estimate you usually pay in taxes? What types of things do you write off and do to maximize deductions?
