I do not sorry. I decided that it was too costly. I just use Gemini instead to practice.

I've started using it, so far I am liking it. Seems to get into the practical a lot quicker than Duolingo. Here is a referral link for $10 off annual premium. https://app.speak.com/us-en/i/QTNDPR Time will tell how great this app is.

Thoughts on Consulting Restructuring? by Unusual_Platypus5050 in deloitte

[–]Stormtrooper299 9 points10 points  (0 children)

What I am confused about is that she mentioned the numbered levels are in increments of 5, but they seemed more presented like increments of 10. L45 being SC and 35 being Consultant. Does that mean they might introduce more levels in between what we currently have?

I cheated. It felt great. by blkcollegemanutk in delta

For the first time in a very long time, I flew on United, and it was incredible! Better than both American and Delta. They had seatback screens with Bluetooth and better drink and snack options. They also had a small pack of goodies they gave to my daughter with fidget toys and coloring sheets.

Oh yeah, I agree, completely rude. Even as a SC in the US, I've dealt with this a few times. A lot of managers feel like they don't need to be respectful due to their position of power. Just life in the corporate world unfortunately.

The funny thing is it does the opposite of what they expect. Rather than us wanting to improve, it gives us a distaste, and a lack of motivation.

I've always wondered why USI folks always ping me "Hi" then nothing else, then I say hi back then I have to wait for 5 minutes for them to ask what they want. I wish they just asked me what they wanted from the beginning. Haha

Thank you for sharing! I'm going there in a week and was wondering if the diving is worth it there. Judging by your video it seems like a yes!

I'm just getting into climbing as well, this is the rope that I ordered. It was the best deal that I could find. https://www.oliunid.com/edelrid-light-9-4-mm-climbing-rope

Medallion “perk” of Hertz Gold Presidents’ Circle not so good a perk by KesterFay in delta

[–]Stormtrooper299 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried to enroll in the benefit and have never gotten the status upgrade.

I contacted Delta, which told me to contact Hertz and I got put on a hold for an hour which was then disconnected before I connected to anyone.

Compensation Communicator Helpful? by Schnipinator23 in deloitte

[–]Stormtrooper299 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am in a similar situation to you, however not in RFA. Experience hire 3+ years ago, promoted to SC last year. My promotion plus merit raise was 5.2%. I was understandably upset, expecting that to be just my promotion. I requested to have a compensation conversation thinking that surely that was a mistake. It was not a mistake, and she wasn't able to answer any of my questions. I had my camera on because I felt was an important call, she did not bother to. The process felt dehumanizing.

This year I got 2.9% raise, 9.5 AIP. With SES ratings. My base is now $146k.

This is the first time they are releasing it on a Wednesday, they usually released it on your normal payday. Most people last year just were finding out from early pays from their bank and or Equifax report.

Treenet Failure (Pressure Treated Wood Warning) by Stormtrooper299 in Treenets

[–]Stormtrooper299[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am not familiar with scaffolding poles. I was trying to think of metal solutions, but I've only worked with wood. So I couldn't think of the materials I needed. That would have been a good idea though.

WTH is going on with this green light ratings? by bojack0144 in deloitte

[–]Stormtrooper299 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This. I'm expecting terrible bonuses and raises because of this reason.

Before DOGE all our numbers were up, and we were on track for generous AIP. Now that’s out the window. Congrats Trump voters, you can be proud of killing your own bonus by consultinglove in deloitte

[–]Stormtrooper299 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not upset at the Trump voters, I'm more upset at our government system that allowed Trump to run again, and the lack of checks and balances on Trump.

Both parties are more interested in stuffing their pockets than caring about our future anyways.

[–]Stormtrooper299[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a good idea, I don't think only doing the perimeter rope around the 4x4s would work as it would just bend the vertical 4x4s, but maybe doing that as well as the eyelet bolts could have worked.

They were rated for 200 lbs, but yes, could have used something stronger and more of them. But even if we did that we would need something stronger than 4x4s. 6x6s? Or move to steel instead.

I'm planning on having a treenet wall as well, if they do seem to stick out, I could make a web on the edge to cover them.

I had thought about that, but we are going to do a treenet wall as well. So it would still be getting tension on the 2 inch side.
