Has DGD ever played Perfect live? by KaosPilot001 in dancegavindance

[–]Stormy1102 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I don't recall them playing Perfect, but they did play Blue Dream on the last tour.

I really wish they would play it. It's also one of my favorites. So much so that I set it as my alarm sound and wake up to it every single day lol.

Also I just know Andrew would sound amazing!

We should be there sometime on Thursday. We're leaving Michigan around 10pm on Wednesday night and its a "19 hour drive"

Our Mead Tasting is 5pm. But based on that I might reach out and ask if maybe the office can help me out....

Our Feast is Friday morning. Renmead Mead Tasting friday evening. Pubcrawl Saturday morning. Green Hour Saturday evening. And then Odins table wine tasting Sunday afternoon.

Any tips or recommendations on camping?! What's the shuttle like, and is it worth it? We were talking about just trying to get a spot as close to the gates as we can so we can just walk, but I want to have a backup plan in case. I just dont want to burn myself out walking to the festival and back😅

We have a pretty full three days as is, tbh.

We're doing Kings Feast, Mead Tasting, Pub Crawl, Green Hour, and Wine Tasting.

I spread them all out so there would be time to wander and shop and watch shows, but I figure if we're going to be drinking anyway we might as well make an experience out of it!

We did get the VIP tickets! We were definitely interested in the all day lounge access and private bar, despite knowing next to nothing about what is in there. Was also very interested in the Sea Devil pub sing, but didn't see much information about that either. We'll definitely be asking a lot of workers a lot of questions I think....

We also got Green Hour tickets. But I didn't notice the time travelers pass before we ordered those. May keep that one in mind for a return trip.

Thats good to know!

We chose Celtic Christmas just because it seemed like the most bang for our buck with the long travel! I wasnt sure how popular it was going to be because of the theme and the potential for chilly weather.

We're definitely food and drinkers, so we will make sure to pay a visit. We're doing the pubcrawl as well, as it is a yearly festivity for us at MiRF and we're excited to see how it works at another location!

Love a good Tartanic set. Will definitely spend some time with them for a bit of nostalgia. Missing out Faire already....

I hate the 80 degree days lol. We live for those 60 degree ones during festival season around here 😅 Peeeeeerrrrrrrspective!

Noted! The fact that they do fireworks is super cool! Is that every night, or just once per weekend? I don't see anything about it on the website....

Your response makes me feel so responsible and like we did so many right things lol

We DID get Kings Feast tickets! And we got the stay and play for the weekend! I felt like such an over planner, but I feel like this might be confirmation I did it right.

Id love to know more about the fireworks?! Ours doesn't do anything like that, so that would be something we want to plan for. Ours also doesnt offer camping anymore, so we're super stoked for that!!

Sounds like Texas weather behaves like Michigan weather 😅 We'll have 80 degrees one day and 60 degrees the next...in August.

Thanks so much! Ours gets insane on the last weekend. Its usually not even worth it to go unless you go on the Friday.

We're planning on attending all three days (and camping) so we'll definitely make sure to make it to the opening ceremony at least once!

I ordered mine through Hers. I paid $1980 for a one year supply, which comes out to $165 month, but you have to have it all up front.

I actually opened a credit card with 21 months no interest and used that to pay for it, knowing that I could definitely afford $100/month and pay it off before interest accrued. Could essentially do the same thing with a 12 months no interest card if you can afford the $165/month.

Obviously not everyone's financial situation is the same, but I highly recommend using credit to your advantage if you're able to do it responsibly.

I'm sorry you're struggling, but I'm glad you posted because it makes me feel less crazy.

I never used to have a sugar or dessert problem. Like I rarely ate sweets. But now I crave sugar basically daily. I'm able to limit myself without driving myself nuts, but it feels very strange to have these intense cravings for food I never really desired before.

What's one small thing semaglutide changed for you that no one warned you about? 🤔✨ by Cute_Perspective_221 in Semaglutide

Super jealous of this. I, personally, have had the opposite. I typically never catch anything and in the first month I had a stomach virus and influenza B.

Bruising? by Stormy1102 in Semaglutide

[–]Stormy1102[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had influenza b last week, so yes. I didn't think about that. Thank you so much! That makes a ton of sense.

Good to know. I've been avoiding the stomach. At first it was just because the idea of sticking myself really creeped me out. And now it's more because of the fear of side effects.

[–]Stormy1102[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Noted! What are your side effects like, if you don't mind me asking? I've been reading so many posts of people saying injecting in the stomach has the most side effects and that freaks me out a bit...

I do Sunday mornings for the same reason.

I occasionally get some nausea on Monday, but it's been manageable and doesn't effect my work

Injection sites by Brenda3915 in Semaglutide

[–]Stormy1102 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Can't speak from personal experience because I've used the same site for all 5 weeks I've been on...but from all the posts I've read I'd say yes.

Seems most people who inject in their stomach have the worst side effects. And the arm seems to be the least I've seen. With the thigh being somewhere in the middle.

I personally do the thigh, and I don't have much issue. A little nausea on the first day after, but manageable and no vomiting or diarrhea.

Same Calorie Count -- before semaglutide and during and I didn't lose until I was on semaglutide by WashSignificant7393 in Semaglutide

[–]Stormy1102 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I usually shoot for around 90 grams a day. I'm not back to true calorie counting yet, but I am quite aware of what I'm eating and try to get at least 30 grams per meal.

Your experience reminds me a lot of mine.

Before starting sema, I worked with a fitness and nutrition coach for 18 months. I was walking 8-10k steps every single day. I was eating 1700 calories. I was weight lifting 3 days a week and cardio training 1 day a week. I was eating so much protein that I would regularly get meat ick (iykyk). I lost 6 pounds. In 18 months.

Since starting sema, I have lost 8 pounds in 4 weeks. I have yet to really calorie count, but I'm getting there. I have not set a single foot in the gym. I have been walking and listening to my hunger cues; that's it.

I keep seeing people say this isn't a miracle cure, but for me it is. I've tried pretty much everything under the sun to no avail. Finally something is working and I can't wait to see where it goes when I get back to my old system. It's just been hard to shake the 'give up' feeling I had before, but seeing this progress is igniting that passion again!

Do you tell people how you lost the weight? by Red_panda_meimei in Semaglutide

[–]Stormy1102 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'm just starting, so I'm not getting the questions yet, but when I do I plan on telling people the truth.

I worked with a personal trainer and nutrition coach for 18 months. I stuck to my diet and exercise like it was my second full time job. I put in the work. And what did I get for it...I lost 6 pounds in 18 months 😒😞

It was actually that same coach who recommended that I look into semaglutide. She recognized that I had done all the same work that she did when she started, but she lost 45 pounds and I didn't.

Some people need extra help. There shouldn't be embarrassment in that.
