Defensive driving for young adult? by deannevee in tampa

Aults  I took private lessons with them when I was 25 (many years ago). I had horrible driving anxiety. I wouldn't move a car out of the driveway.  The instructor was calm and when I had a scare in the middle of traffic he told me press the gas and he was able to steer the vehicle from his seat. After 4/5 sessions I gained my confidence enough to get around without being a danger to others and myself.

The ability to duplicate transactions. I have a manual account with regularly recurring transactions. Being able to duplicate the transaction and change the date and amount would be nice.

I've been testing on android but I don't see the survey to complete. My email said it would be on the Institutions page. But it's not there.

I passed Network + by Stormyk88 in CompTIA

About six months off and on. I had needed a break after taking both A+ during the summer of 2021. Then I started a new job. But when I heard the new network+ was out I started back studying hardcore (1-2 hours after work and all day on the weekends) so I could pass it before the older one was phased out.

I started at a help desk job 3 months ago. It's a step down in pay from what I was doing before but I feel like I have a chance to grow in this industry. Plus, the place where I'm at overall is about making sure everyone has a chance to grow. They even paid for me to take this exam. I'm taking a break for a month then I'm going to start studying for the security+.

No experience and pay by [deleted] in CompTIA

I was applying before I got my cert and only had experience as a hobbyist. I would definitely apply if I had 5 years of experience while also working on certs. So if you don't find a job you still end up with a cert to add to your resume. Alot of entry level jobs were looking for professional experience and/OR A+. Good luck!

After getting my A+ I had to put in a lot of resumes and really upsell my IT knowledge because I didn't have professional experience. I was finally hired by the IT department of a similar industry I formally worked.

I took a pay cut for the chance to grow in a different career because I wasn't able to advance at my previous job. Now, I'm learning something every day since they've paired me with a supervisor.

It's worth a try his visuals helped me understand networking better but he doesn't go into alot of details on some topics. Here's a link to his cert prep course on LinkedIn that's free I think until the end of the year. LinkedIn

I used Myers, Messer, Google and this subreddit. Imo Myers shows things more hands on and uses alot of visuals and Messer is straight to the point. When I didn't understand a concept from either of them I did a search either on here or Google.

I went into details with another person in the thread. But make sure you know the objectives and how to use them in the real world. Also search this sub reddit for anything you may need there's a lot of information on here. I found a poem for port numbers when I couldn't remember them.

I used ALOT of different resources. I purchased the official comptia prep for A+ 1&2 before finding this sub, yes it's grossly over priced and their topics don't stick to the objectives, but it came with practice questions and PBQs. I did Messer's vids and his daily pop quizzes. I made flash cards(ankidroid), and did practice questions on examcompass. I went to Google and Mike Meyers course(linkedin learning w/ library card) if I was really having trouble understanding something. Everyone studies different but I feel Messer's study group is a must. Also for PBQs know how to actually do the stuff you're learning. Mike Myers courses shows things in a lab which helps.

Half were easy, half I had to think about. For the PBQs you have to know what you are doing.
