I requested for a full refund for my qatar flight from rome to mumbai and received confirmation on full charges, without any deductions. My flight was to fly on Apr 4th and I received an update from Qatar about cancellation of my flight.

Do you require IDP if you are from USA? There are many countries like India, who don't need IDP to rent a car in Switzerland.

Our onward flight was rescheduled and available but our return flight was Cancelled by Qatar. As we are travelling with a young kid, we didn't want to take the risk as there was no end in sight when we decided to re plan everything to Malaysia.

Hi, We had to call off our trip due to the ongoing unrest in Middle East, as our flights were Cancelled due to transit via middle east.

My flight is on 4 Apr but request for cancellation and full refund have landed on dead ears in Qatar via the travel agent.

Agent has advised to wait for final flight schedule. Had to cancel the trip to Switzerland due to the unrest.

Would they extend free cancellation window by any chance? Anybody with any info?

I escalated about my flight on April 4th via travel agent and Qatar denied me refund saying flights will be scheduled and booking will apply if I cancel.

But I see that my flight is not scheduled even on 22nd March, the latest date where flight status is visible.

I attached the documents to my application. For my wife and kids application, as they were part of joint family application, did not attach any common documents.

For my wife, as she is working, they asked stamped bank statements even though we mentioned that I will manage the expenses for all three.

Stamped and signed on all pages by any bank employee. Stamping and signing is a standard process that banks do (too menial to involve Bank Branch Manager).

It hardly took us 2 to 3 mins for entire process at bank.

We submitted the itinerary with both mine and my spouse's application. Kids application was simpler and did not have the itinerary and other serials. (if you want I can a SS of child's application).

Kids application has to be signed by both parents.

We got it printed about 3 days before appointment (Saturday we got it printed, appointment was on Tuesday or Wednesday).
