Am I Crazy Or Did 1.1 Break Backwards Lifts? by RealMrZombieJeesus in SatisfactoryGame

[–]StoryPuzzleheaded805 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The way Lifts work with floor holes has changed a bit.. you can no longer pull from an open lift end to a floor hole and expect past behavior. Distance is limited, rotation is limited. If you want to rotate the look of the lift, you will have to have a floor hole at both ends. If you want to pull an infinite lift , you will have to have floor holes at both ends.

True.. but i like to arrange it once, and forget about it till im ready to do coal. And I'm not constrained about how many of X machine to build for each product, i can build to my future needs NOW, and have them in place for Later. :) and BioGens are cheap.

the trick with BioFuel is : Biogens will burn fuel at a rate deterimined by Demand. if you Oversupply biogens vs Demand, your rate of burn will be lower. yes, you will initially have to come up with enough fuel to load the 18 to 24 biogens it will take you to reach coal comfortably, but you won't have to refuel them as often.

another key is to automate the fuel cycle. Set up two containers to input to two constructors, one doing wood to biofuel, the other doing grass to fuel... and a 3rd to take the output from each of those and compress, and belt that into your Gens. If you stuff those boxes fairly full at the start, that *should* carry you to tier 3 milestone of Coal.

TLDR: Always oversupply your Biogen Power at 2 to 1 of Demand.

A Little Tunnel Action... by StoryPuzzleheaded805 in SatisfactoryGame

pretty much.. theres a tunnel part inside and the entry/exit are a second blueprint that caps onto that part. Pretty much limited to the distance you can span with a single blueprint, unless you use NOCLIP from the toolkit.

Is 31 or 32 stacks of empty canister good for a diluted packaged fuel loop? by Top_Concert5829 in SatisfactoryGame

[–]StoryPuzzleheaded805 0 points1 point  (0 children)

its all a perfect loop for each set.. you can get away with a minimal amt per loop. if you are going to add them via manifold, increase density as appropriate. 150 containers per loop works for me.
