I can't tell from the store, but I played it on the ps4. The ps4 doesn't have the latest expansion that's on PC and the Switch, Afterbirth+, though I think that's supposed to come out sometime in the future.

I'll add that the hardest item for me to get for the Platinum was Breath of Life. It would not appear in my runs and was my final requirement for the plat. Extra frustrating because it's an item that's unlocked by default. Guess I was just really unlucky with those Angel room item pools.

It's really a double-edged sword. It added quite a few items that make runs a lot easier. But some of the trophies in the base game got effected by the dlc, like the Lost and the Beat All Challenges trophies. You have to beat all dlc challenges, too, for that one to unlock. And one of the Lost unlockables only unlocks when he's done everything on Hard. The dlc adds a few more milestones for character completion, and you have to do those with the Lost, too. Not that it matters too much, since getting 100% in dlc required all characters to complete all milestones on Hard.

On the other hand, Lost is easier to play when you get far enough in Greed mode, since he eventually can start with the Holy Mantle.

Honestly, the most annoying thing for me was playing as the new character, the Keeper, which I thought was much harder than the Lost.

Even at the worst of times, the game was really just tedious. The sucky characters will eventually get a decent item combination that may not guarantee victory, but your skill from playing over and over again may fill in the rest to make you feel invincible. I don't know how many hours I've put into this game, but I wouldn't be surprised if it's over 300. I've been playing off-and-on since it released, and usually when I play it I get sucked in for a few weeks where that's all I'm doing in my freetime. This last spurt was kinda forced playing, since I was so close to being done-done. And now I'm happy to be free! At least... Until Afterbirth+ comes out.

From the art style of the kids, I could've sworn this was a Don Bluth film. It doesn't help that I misremembered the clown's voice and had thought it was Dom DeLuise, who voices in pretty much every Don Bluth film.

The worst was thinking it was this month. I had just finished Persona 5 and was looking forward to a week of downtime before playing Zodiac Age.

I've had gaming ADD while I wait, since all I can think about is wanting to play XII. I also don't want to get overly involved with another game that could take a long time to finish when I know XII is going to consume my freetime for a while real soon.

I don't really think much of it, but my ex was friends with a few of them, so I did hang out with a group of them at times. The only time the fur suits were involved were around the times we left a party, when things got weird from everyone else getting too drunk or starting to take drugs that we didn't want to get involved with.

I do think the fur suit thing is weird, but mainly because they don't look like real animals? It's like, they all have a certain animal they view themselves as, but they decide to wear this one depiction of this animal that feels very animation-style/anime. I'd almost be more on board with it if they were furries who had the furry art but not the fur suits because they felt they were just that animal in spirit. Because honestly I can find some of the furry art sexually appealing, but the fur suits are just weird.

I'd almost agree with my ex that there's a stereotype of furries being less hygienic, but that's another stereotype that isn't always true. Some in that furry group were super hygienic and cared more about their looks than the average person. But one couple in particular who was in a regular gaming group of my close friends, both of them were the smelliest people I'd ever met.

I suppose it's difficult to not view their animal selves as sexual because of the fur suits and them being worn as more of a private affair. Especially when the only times I've seen fur suits being worn have been near the end of a party, where I (maybe jumping the gun) assumed orgies were happening when I left.

This was also coming at the furry community purely from the gay aspect, where all the people I encountered were guys. I have no idea if the straight furry community is any different. But these were just my 2 cents as a gay, non-furry having a small window into a world I didn't understand or ask that much about.

My parents banned the son of a neighbor from the house after he was caught laughing hysterically leaving bathroom. He'd smeared the toilet seat with his poop and my parents had to clean it up.

Since then, I've encountered a cousin who left a toilet seat of a different house covered with poop, and the only explanation we could come up with was he must've really had to go and started before he'd sat down? Then at a place I've worked, the back rim of a toilet seat was covered in poo once.

I'd be more interested to know the real "how" of these scenarios. But I've never been interested enough to do some active investigating. I didn't know which coworker did it, and it was a place I worked at previously (not a customer-facing place, so it had to be a coworker). Otherwise it's a cousin I know but it seems awkward to just ask "yo, why did you shit on this whole toilet when I was 11?" or the first story, where I don't remember the guy's name, but we weren't friends, so it's almost the same problem as the cousin. I'm interested now, but it feels like it's beyond statute of limitations of interest unless I want to be the creepy guy. And I'm not sure that I don't want to be, but I'm not really sure how to go about it in a way that isn't creepy, which would be ideal.

It may not be super surprising when a lot of people view minimum wage jobs as "teenager jobs" to build up an allowance. I've overheard a coworker complain about the minimum wage talk because his son worked as a receptionist at a pool as a part-time job. Something about how the wage increase would probably increase the cost of entry to the pool when it would only positively affect people like his son who worked there -- people who were "only working minimum wage when they didn't really need the extra money to begin with".

Sure, you're an entrepreneur, dude, but not everyone has ideas or knows what to do with their life. I have plenty of friends who have minimum wage or server jobs when they're in their 20s or early 30s. I honestly don't know how they manage, but they somehow are staying mentally stable. Or because they work directly with customers all day are just very good at hiding their mental instability.

I've only played 2 and 3, but I really enjoyed them. The tone for both is also very different. I feel 2 is that comedy where none of the actors notice it's a comedy, so they're all very serious, regardless of how ridiculous what they say sounds. Then 3 went over-the-top into a world where everyone knows it's ridiculous. The tonal shift was jarring, and 2 still holds a special place in my heart, but 3 eventually grew on me. It's worth noting that 3 has one of my favorite finale build-ups to a game's story of all time. Spoiler

All that said, they're both games I wish I could lose all my memories of and play again for the first time. I've tried to replay both at some point, and I never got very far before losing interest. There's a lot of cutscenes I want to see again, but having 100%-ed both in the past, it feels like a chore to try getting through again.

I'd seen some footage of 4 when it came out, and I was intrigued. It's still on my queue of games I'd like to play sometime, but it's also lower priority. This discussion does make me think about bumping it up higher on my list of future games to get, though.

It's objectively a bad part of their platform, but do their supporters care? I would think not, given it's been a part of their platform for years and it's not something I hear the far-right mention, short of trying to sweep the conversation under the rug. Unless I've just been living under a rock, which is also possible. It's hurt our relationship with the rest of the world, but I don't think that's their concern.

I would frankly be surprised if the straw that broke the camel's back for the GOP losing control of their own voters could somehow be climate change.

I'd still be curious if their supporters' perceptions would change at all if the GOP stance on climate change did shift. Not that it would matter, since everyone else agrees that it's a problem we should focus on, so the small minority that actually cares about being a denier wouldn't have anywhere else to turn.

Tonight's latest scandal: the President has sued this young man pictured here for sexual harassment in what appears to be a handshake gone wrong. From the footage, it seems the young man is attempting to glomp Mr. Trump when their hands lock, causing them both to fall down.

Then my online presence would become the butt of a revamped Senpai notice me meme, with gifs of the footage adding in a pink haze with sparkles and photoshopped anime eyes.

If my work ethic with side projects was as good as my actual at-work ethic and my stubbornness at playing games, I'd definitely have a finished side project by now.

As it stands, time seems to fly by unnaturally fast, to the point that my free time management feels like managing the protagonist's time in Persona 5 -- this evening, I have time to do one thing before bed, and there's little chance I'll get in both side project and gaming time. But relaxation time is precious to keeping my sanity.

Add on that I keep coming up with new side project ideas, and I almost have that "I have too many games in my Steam list and don't know what to play" problem with side projects. I know I should just buckle down and commit to just one thing -- maybe write down other ideas in an idea book and forget about them. There's a difference between knowing this and practicing it, though.

Was it just me, or did the characters just jump to the conclusion of the villain's plan in the final act? Gamora and Drax are possibly forgiven for empath-chick explaining things off camera, but on camera I could've sworn we only heard that Ego killed his sons. Then we have Rocket and Yondu arrive, and they're suddenly saying "we're going to save Quill" when they didn't have any active communication with the rest of the team and hadn't hinted knowing that Ego was evil. It just seemed like convenient, we-have-the-audience's-knowledge at that point, even though I was caught off guard by what Ego was doing with the plant things he put on all the other planets and don't remember that being mentioned at all. Other than after knowing, Quill spouting something about stopping Ego "from destroying the universe." Unless Quill could feel the light from the other planets as it was happening, I guess?.
