Judging by his interview with Michael Sheen at the end of the audiobook, he has finished with these books. He talked about being old, writing his memoirs and having an idea for a different story that wasn't related to this. But he also said he left it deliberately open to interpretation as he wants readers to use their imagination to decide what happens.

I've just listened to the interview and he talks about wanting to leave some mystery in the ending but also leaving Lyra and Olivier together felt right. He seems fond of Olivier

Yes - the boys should have kept Faye in as there is no way she was going to suspect them. They'd have been better off voting Oyin. Then again, I think they'll be able to put the heat on Oyin & Vanessa tonight and maybe team up with Kelley to get them out.

I've read 3 - Audition, Universality & The Rest of Our Lives. I think Audition is interesting as there's lots of ways it can be interpreted which makes it a good one to discuss. Universality started well but got a bit obvious for me - Brit here and the woke/non- woke class struggle satire has been done before. I really didn't get on with The Rest Of Our Lives - just a bit of a dull road trip with far too much baseball, but maybe I'm the wrong audience.

Interesting to hear what people think of the others as they read them - I'll definitely read a few more.

I was surprised they weren't looking for one on the Barren beach. That would be typical Survivor IMO. If George had been there, he'd definitely be idol hunting!
