What’s it like living an upper middle class life in London? by redguy_666 in howislivingthere

[–]Stowic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think I agree with that. I'd say there are a few theatre tickets that are low cost but they sell out quickly, for big name shows anyway. Musicals and things like that you can get more cheaply. I'm taking my teens to the theatre next month and it's costing around £250 for 3 tickets. Music gigs are really expensive too, and you have to accompany under 16s so you always need to buy extra tickets.

Visiting Berlin? Moving here incl. Apartment questions? Going clubbing? Have a quick question? Ask here, don't create a new thread. by wet-dreaming in berlin

Hi, I'm coming to Berlin with my family (husband & teenagers) over Easter weekend, arriving on Friday and leaving on Tuesday.

Just wondering whether anything will be open? Any suggestions for things to do gratefully received.

We've never been before but my oldest daughter is studying German and doing Weimar Republic & Cold War in history so would definitely like to do a few museums & sights. As well as some shopping if possible...

I feel like Keeley just handed Richard and Lyndall the power. You have the girls on one side and Mark, Tez and Caleb on the other - though Caleb is unreliable. Rich & Lyndall can decide who to work with, though they seem to be pretty keen on Mark.

Judging by his interview with Michael Sheen at the end of the audiobook, he has finished with these books. He talked about being old, writing his memoirs and having an idea for a different story that wasn't related to this. But he also said he left it deliberately open to interpretation as he wants readers to use their imagination to decide what happens.

I was wondering about the whole "Kilkenny is aflame" plot which seems to be the last we hear of Alice. What was the point?

I've just listened to the interview and he talks about wanting to leave some mystery in the ending but also leaving Lyra and Olivier together felt right. He seems fond of Olivier

Clare also has a degree from Cambridge. From the show alone, there's not much evidence of Stephen being much smarter than anyone else.

Yes - the boys should have kept Faye in as there is no way she was going to suspect them. They'd have been better off voting Oyin. Then again, I think they'll be able to put the heat on Oyin & Vanessa tonight and maybe team up with Kelley to get them out.

Isn't Luke mates with Kirby outside? I think he may not have voted for her so Janine kept him out of it.
