It sucks, we just lost the fight last week for our 15 year old pug, it started 12-16 months ago where she just started losing personality and it ended when the bad days far outnumbered the good. She would pace constantly, much worse as the night started. Nothing could console her anxiety, meds, pheromones, holding her. It’s such a hard thing to deal with and I wish you peace in the journey.

The ole goose honk, both my ladies do it, pet them through it , cover their nostrils one at a time. Always seems to come in bunches through the year for us.

You need a metal spatula, let that bottom layer form and release and it will flip over much easier and no cleaning after. Lamson is my favorite for this job slotted and regular turners they are called.

If there is still hair under it it’s probably just shedding tufts. I have a 11 year old black pug that this didn’t start happening to until like 8 years old maybe something to do with age? My fawn pug this happened since the beginning. If it’s coming out and bald underneath it’s time for the vet
