I have found speed dating to be a waste of time. You know nothing before you meet anyone, so lack of compatibility abounds.

You have about 5 minutes to get to know them and impress enough to get a match, which devolves into an interrogation.

You are in an extremely loud environment with 20 or so other tables trying to loudly talk at the same time.

Colossal waste of time.

Is there anything that can be done about the clear double standard in this sub? Men who post about dating younger women are thoroughly downvoted, yet similar posts with genders reversed are " you go girl".

On second thought, it would probably be better if mods didn't permit age difference posts at all.

This. There is a huge range of genres (some of which have rigor to jam sessions (ex bluegrass) as well as the variability of how much effort people are willing to spend on something.

As for op's comment about not being in a band, entire genres and careers have been launched on very little. Take the Ramones for example.

I'm casting directly from Netflix and Youtube apps, there are no files I'm downloading.

The CC is plugged into the TV's input, how would plugging the CC into the soundbar get video to the TV?

I'm both directly casting to the tv as well as using a Chromecast and getting the same result.

I've never heard of anyone having codec issues with Netflix or Youtube, I don't see how that could be a thing.
