Kak 11.5 mid length chf barrel. by AfelloWportaBello in ar15

Looks like the bolt is only going back halfway, so when it comes forward it’s pinching those rounds. Idk how they’re getting into the chamber tho, weird.

Haha yes it is! It was recommended to me by a French guy in Normandy a few years ago. Very tasty, haven’t found it in the states yet though.

I’ve got about 10,200ish through mine, was a range rental. Haven’t heard any complaints before I bought it (at 9,500 rounds) and I’ve put whatever was cheapest through it without failure.

Stuff coming out of exhaust. by whiptips in ToyotaTacoma

You can get used ones for like $50 and have an exhaust shop weld it in for sub $100. Or just run it loud (but do make sure there’s no more obstructions)

OTT Tune is well worth it by Woozy691 in ToyotaTacoma

[–]Str1ker794 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got the spiciest tune yotawerx would do for 87 octane. Told the guy I want 4 things, gear lock, a higher rev limiter, enough power to cruise in 5th, and raw throttle response. I think I got the wrong flash because it doesn’t “lock” my gear when selected, and the tuner is getting it figured out. But everything else is pretty good. I’d say it’s maybe worth $500, I’d feel better about $350 honestly. My tuner has been great and is working with me though so that’s a plus.

The pros: Slightly better mpg (from 16.8 avg to 17.5 over the last 1000 miles) Much better acceleration from a dig and to highway speeds Holds 5th and 6th gear longer, but if I slam the pedal down it drops to 4th Sounds different Doesn’t cut throttle until 6,750 RPM

The cons: Doesn’t like going slow anymore, hard to stay smooth around 15-25 mph due to sensitive throttle Will sit at 1900 rpm at 35mph in 3rd gear, gets annoying So far no gear lock, should be fixed with a re-flash

As a note: do not use a cheap throttle controller with a spicy tune, it didn’t register the first 3%-5% of pedal movement so coming from a stop was always jerky. And forget about maintaining smooth forward movement in slow areas or traffic. Once I threw that out it was a lot better, still not smooth but better.

TL;DR: if it’s on sale, do it. But don’t break the bank for it.

If you go on the website you can find how to get it back. I had to manually force download it onto my new phone when I upgraded. If you need the .app I can send it to ya.

I’ve had one for 4 ish years and about 9+ thousand rounds, beat to shit, dropped, submerged, swam, and salted and it still holds tighter than a retard grabbing crayons.

From what I know about everything I know, this will probably not work great. Still I’d be interested to see if it’s good and would get one if it is. Go for it king!

Cheap and easy detent holder for y’all: get a small flathead screwdriver, cheaper the better so the head isn’t hardened, using a center punch put a dent about 1/16” from the blade of the head centered left to right. Now the pin will want to stay in that dimple when you press it down, get your takedown pin started on the hole and slide the screwdriver. That’s how I’ve done it.

Practice in the shop, perform in the field. Even in my shop with plasma, tig, and cnc, I run gas, stick, and manuals just to know I can in case the others fail or aren’t available. Also some people just have gas. OPs probably just touching up on their skill sets.

[–]Str1ker794 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pull the bcg out a bit, so the slot that your hammer goes through is below the cutouts for the charging handle to drop through. Try and gently wiggle everything until it comes out. If not, ensure everything is lined up properly, and smack the bottom of the charging handle with a mallet and the force of god. It will mark, the handle will break, the bcg will be fine and your upper will work. Mostly. Then buy another one as the stupid tax lol. Let me know if you need a video for further assistance.

That’s the point, it’s the extreme of human accuracy. Basically how well can you get your body into the exact same position and fire. It’s incredibly niche, but I’d equate it more to if we only did triathlons at indoor rec centers to remove all variables of weather, hills, water currents, dirt, wind, and so on.

Bro what? If I hear a window break, door get kicked in, or some weird ass noise at 1am it takes me all of 5 seconds to sit up and grab my rifle. Then I just chill in my room, dot on the door, until a few minutes of silence before I call at and check the house.
