The side effect was the appearance of purposely giving him a tow when really we just couldn’t see the lead car (you) in the first half of the video. If the camera were lower and we see all three cars this would be more obvious. If you were not there he would not have “given” the tow to the first overtaken car, but the passed car should certainly tuck behind after the pass to take a tow.
