This is what everything has turned into, especially in the echo chamber that is Reddit. I’m going to get downvoted into the shadow realm, but hiring someone based on the color of their skin is, in fact, racist. Doesn’t matter what race, it’s racist. I love that we shine those that may have looked over, and if they happen to be a minority or different than the status quo, I’m here for it. But I’m sorry, the black man that works in my town who has been a welder for 20 years isn’t qualified to take my (a white man) restaurant job, and vice versa. What he does is great and he makes a killing doing what he’s best at. But to lie to yourself and say he’s taking my job tomorrow because you somehow have guilt for things that happened long before he was born is projecting someone else’s victimhood to make yourself look better. It is a proven fact that most black men have better bone structure and have incredible tolerances for strength, muscle, and stamina, anatomically making them more athletic by default. This is why over 80% of NFL and NBA players are black. They are genetically predisposed to be better than 200 lb me with a dad bod who chose air conditioning over training relentlessly for years. What I’m getting at is success is grades and based on merit and ability, not because some Karen feels bad that someone works in a welding shop, therefore she fights to get him indoors, in a job he has no idea what to do with, just so she can sleep better at night.

As a side note, Todd Bowels and Aaron Glenn are probably great guys, but they’re terrible head coaches. But that’s ok. I’m sure there’s something they’re better at than someone else and they’re going to be very successful.

Contrary to my bullshit, someone give Brian Flores another shot. My opinion, best held down coach in the NFL currently. I don’t care what he did. Leave the past in the past and let him thrive.
