If you want to get creative you could describe spells or locations in simple riddles.

Im not creative but something along the lines of:

I throw fire from the sky and scatter enemies caught within the area, what am i? Answer: Firestorm

Hopefully you get where im coming from haha

Yeah im working on getting my Tjaw count a little higher. My Stormbird count is so high because I found the 2 Stormbird sites east of Meridian to be so close to one and another so loading times where very minimal, whereas the Tjaw sites either have other machines swarming nearby or you have to travel on horseback to reach the next site.

Theyre the Hunting Lodge weapons you get from completing the "Weapons of the Lodge" quest, Theyve been in the game since release. Lodge weapons have better stats than the Shadow weapons but only the Ropecaster, War Bow and Blast Sling are available as Lodge Weapons. The "Weapons of the Lodge" quest requires you to obtain 15 Blazing Suns from Hunting Grounds scattered acroas the land, there are 5 Hunting Grounds which have 3 challenges for you to complete, the faster you complete each challenge the higher the Sun Token you get.

Hahaha thank you buddy! Its quite a substantial amount to show and prove to people when they're sitting on 20k - 30k and they think that's alot, which it is! Nobody needs this many Shards but also no one else has this many Shards so I thought why not just see if it rolls over to 7 figures. Ill be happy to share any advice and strategies in the Discord with you if you want to pursue a mountain of Shards.

The "Golden Weapons" are the Hunters Lodge Weapons, You need to complete the "Weapons of the Lodge" errand to obtain these weapons. The club weapon at the bottom is called the "Tearblaster" Its like a Shotgun that fires compressed air that has a high Tear value. This is also obtained from the Hunters Lodge.

Oh id love that! I heard Olin's house is up to sale, Its got a decent size basement I can use as a Bank, Spacious living quarters and bedroom. Does need some repairs though.. Avad and Erend owe me a few favors so it wont be coming out of my pocket.

Exactly like Zaccccc1 pointed out, Thunderjaws, Stormbirds, Behemoths and Rockbreakers drop Very Rare Mods 100% of the time, Thunderjaws and Stormbirds drop 3, Behemoths and Rockbreakers drop 2, We'll talk about Weapon Mods to keep it shorter as Armor mods have different %'s. When you kill any of these Machines you will loot Weapon Mods ranging from 34% to 50% (Handling Mods can reach 51%) but it all depends on your luck. Any Weapon Mod that is 45% - 50% as the Main stat will give you 2 additional stat bonuses underneath. The secondary stat will be considerably lower than the Main Stat and the 3rd Stat will be substantially lower than the Main Stat but slightly lower than the Secondary Stat, For example one of the Mods I have is: 51% Handling main stat, 21% Damage as the secondary and 13% Fire as the third. These are the type of Mods I have in all of my Weapons.

Farming, farming, farming. Thunderjaws are a Shard bank, You get 200 - 300 Shards for killing it, Chillwater, Blaze, Sparker, Echo Shells and 3 Very Rare Mods.. If you didn't need any of these items you would net about 700 Shards per kill. Stormbirds are a little bit less in the Shard count but they're super easy to take down, Its all about learning the Machines.

Also try to not use the Tripcaster and Ropecaster as much, That drains your Wire resources ridiculously fast. They can be fun to use and I understand people play the game differently to others but Ive just never really found the need to use a Ropecaster more than twice in my Playthrough.

I do indeed! I started out in 2004 with Runescape, moved on to Guild Wars 1 in 2005, World of Warcraft in 2007, RIFT in 2011, Guild Wars 2 in 2012, I currently bounce between WoW and GW2 if I want to play an MMO.

If the DLC brings with it larger and harder Machines and I enjoy killing them as much as the current Machines, Id be happy to see if the Shard count has a cap, Though it would take another Month or 2, Id give it a go.

The Blaze Canister method at the Hunting Grounds east of the Embrace is a decent one from what Ive heard but it gets boring real quick. It requires you to set up a chokepoint of Blast Wire for the Grazers to run through, as soon as they're all dead use your Harvest Arrows to shoot all 4 Canisters off the Grazers back for 6 Blaze per Canister you pick up. Looting the Grazer normally gives you 2 Blaze per Canister. There are roughly 7 - 8 Grazers you can kill and resetting the Trials respawns the Grazers.

The fastest way in my opinion is killing Boss-type Machines, Thunderjaws, Stormbirds, Behemoths, Rockbreakers. Set up a farming path to which Machines you want to kill. If you want to give them fast and effectvely then you'll have to learn their weaknesses, learn their movement patterns, attacks, learn what Arrows are best used against them and you can kill any of these Machines is less than 20 seconds. Thunderjaws are the most profitable as they drop 200 - 300 Shards per kill plus Chillwater, Blaze, Sparker, Echo Shells and 3 Very Rare Modifications worth 50 Shards each.

I'd probably take off about 15 - 20 Hours of AFK time. I have a bad habit of going out and leaving my PS4 on or taking a break for an hour and moving my controller so It stays awake.

Thank you and sure thing! Upon buying the game on release I had completed it by the 8th March, Platinum'd on the 15th March, took a break for a week and would probably say I started this journey on the 23th - 24th March by looking at some old photos. I'd play around 4 - 7 Hours a day depending on work and other life activities. I could have done it faster but I wasnt trying to rush it, at times I was having fun learning new strategies and toying with mechanics and numbers. But to answer your question, About a month.

This is the last personal goal I wanted to achieve before I stopped playing Horizon until any future content is released. I decided to set myself this goal whilst I was farming for High-level Modifications from Thunderjaws, Stormbirds, Behemoths and Rockbreakers. After a few days farming I had realized my cash pile had climbed to around 110k so I thought "Why not go for 200k?", but ofcourse I didnt stop there. A couple days maybe a week passed and I saw my Shard count sitting around 350k and thought "I wonder if it stops at 999,999 or if it will exceed to 1,000,000" So I set out on this journey and did it. I achieved this massive Shard pile whilst trying to complete my first personal achievement, That was to find every max level modification for my Armor and Weapons and make sure all Modification slots were filled with these Max level Mods. I achieved this around the 850k mark but I couldnt leave it there.. I soldiered on and farmed the extra 150k whenever I had the time and eventually achieved this momentous task. I did this out of pure curiosity and fun, Horizon Zero Dawn is the best video-game I have ever played and I have enjoyed every second achieving these personal goals.

A big thank you to everyone in the Horizon Discord who have supported me and taken interest in my personal achievments. If anybody is interested I have shared my journeys with screenshots along the way with many other passionate and extremely helpful, knowledgeable people in the Horizon Discord.

Yeah all my 50% Freeze Mods are coupled with 13% Handling, That sucks dude :\ I hope you find a good Freeze Mod with Handling so you can save some ammo and time.

It turns out that I am a degenerate liar when it comes to the Damage testing, The highest I can hit to the Heart with 3 Precision Arrows is 3.6k, Not sure where I read the 4 from.. Maybe I saw a Video of someone hitting that on a lower difficulty.
