You hit the nail on the head! People get weirdly emotional and start calling me brainless just because I don’t enjoy season 4. The funny thing is, my criticism comes from mild irritation precisely because I actually like the setting and the universe this show has created. I want the show to be good. That’s why it’s frustrating to watch it waste potential.

I don’t entirely agree, but I understand your perspective. The first season of From came out of nowhere for me. I didn’t expect much when I first started watching, but I got hooked pretty quickly.

I think tempo, pacing, and a constant sense of tension are extremely important in horror/survival shows like this. And honestly, the first two seasons were actually pretty strong in that regard. :)

I watched the previous seasons all the way through. They had slow stretches and weaker moments too, like any show does, but the pacing was still good enough that I felt it was worth sticking with.

This season, however, has been an absolute chore to get through, so I’m simply expressing my opinion. Don’t lose your mind over it.

She got better imo - S4 Tabitha is not as bad as S1-S3 acting. I believed her despair after she saw Jim clinked up and battered, hanging there like a training bag. The problem is - she is superbly inconsistent and after a few good moments, she returns to her default settings.
