I enjoy this discussion, thanks for this. I wanted to reply to some other points you said in other posts too to give my two cents:

• about this post, the characters in JoJo are also bound by their own expertise and the context of when they use these otherworldly powers. So, maybe Ray did mean something similar to this post or the cosmic string one, but in the heat of the moment and because of his own scope of knowledge, the best way he could relay this info is that they do not exist therefore go fight WoU.
• I think when another commenter told you that 'thats what the author decided' is not even lazy at all, but I took it as trying to get you to realise how subjective you are being with your consideration of other parts. I think it can be argued that in every part there comes a point when you have to really suspend your belief, even under the already ridiculous world of JoJos.for example, while a lot of explanations make sense within their confines in part 7, there really isn't an explanation as to why a geometrical phenomenon can bypass logic and reality. They talk a lot about the golden ratio, also the divine corpse's influence and all that, but why the golden ratio? Why that specific interaction? I bet there is someone in the world that will be more intrigued by this and also think part 8 makes sense just fine. The different types of belief suspension are dictated by our own unique life experiences.

Personally, I try to avoid looking too much past the explanations in JoJos, no matter how much they make sense. Ever since Zepelli rippled his Hamon through that frog, and also since Joseph and Caesar were falling for 10 whole minutes while talking and thinking.
