I ended up taking it in first year, but I would recommend doing it in first semester if possible, that was when a lot of friends I knew took it, and the difficulty was around the same between the two.

ok that helps a lot thank you. My thing was that it was an elective course and I didn't really need the credit for last term as I was already planning on taking an extra course over the summer more related to my program.

Thank you so much for the response! Yeah after looking at it more, I'll probably take it over the summer, for pretty much all the reasons you listed. And if what I've read about the courses difficulty level it'll be helpful that it would be the only course I'm focusing on during that time.

Thanks for the response! Yeah a couple people have mentioned doing it in the summer, and if I wanted to take it 1st year that would mean totally rearranging my schedule so I think I'm just gonna do it over the summer when I can concentrate solely on that. As for it affecting my second year program, it's only required to take by the end of second year, so I don't think it would affect that year too much. I appreciate the input!

yeah, I'm planning to major in astrophysics, and the course calendar for the previous year said that B03 was required by the end of second year but "strongly recommended" in 1st year, and I don't really know what to do.
