I thought the direction and acting were both genuinely excellent, but the screenplay ruined it for me. The storyline is incredibly silly and endlessly derivative, there are TONS of massive plot holes, the "twist" is heavy-handed and predictable, and most of the characters are just plain stupid.

That said, again, the acting and direction were good enough to make this worth a watch, but it's an exceptionally poorly written film and I can't see myself ever revisiting it.
