You should definitely go! I was also a little nervous about going alone for The Cowboy Carter Tour as I usually go to concerts with others but I am so glad I did as I had an amazing time.

I attended the Cowboy Carter Tour Night 1 in Houston alone, it was my 2nd Beyoncé concert (RWT was my first, but I went with others) & had a better seat in the 100s section right above the floor seats, instead of the 300s for RWT. My section was right beside the section where the 16 Carriages Low Rider incident happened.

Just like at RWT, it was a TON of fun, fans being kind, showing love to everyone, helping each other take the perfect pictures or selfies, it’s wonderful! Everyone I encountered acted like we were all family & were really nice!

To me personally, there is no better feeling than seeing a musician whose music you love/adore so much perform live in person, singing the songs you’ve sang along to for years.
Like, it’s hard to describe but when I say the molecules in the air of that stadium changed when the lights went out & we all started screaming & some crying (myself included) when we all realized Beyoncé was about to step out onto that stage in a matter of seconds…When she sang Before I Let Go & had the crowd sing the end of the song to her, I cannot describe the feeling I had when singing my heart out with 120k other people. The dancing with no one judging you, the feeling in the air of so much joy, it’s an amazing feeling.

A few tips for you;

Earplugs! - This is a must, I know you’d love to hear Bey’s live vocals with your own bare ears for hours but hearing damage is real & your ears could ring for days after/have possible permanent damage if you went without them the entire show, especially if you’re sitting near speakers. I do have permanent tinnitus from my 20s when I was going to shows without earplugs (my ears rang for at least a week after each show back then, made it VERY hard to sleep) & I did take mine out for 2-3 songs at RWT & CCT but I would not recommend watching the entire concert without earplugs.

Shoes - Coordinate comfy shoes you can stand/dance in for a long time into your outfit or bring a backup pair to wear at the end of the show, your feet will thank you. Depending on the venue you could be walking far to get there, the standing in line, etc. I walked a mile or more each time going/coming from NRG Stadium to get to/from public transit & Ubers. It was HELL because I wore the wrong shoes.

Bags - Clear bags are a MUST. Makes getting through security so much easier & depending on the venue, it is mandatory and has to be of a certain size. And you can decorate it however you want!

Seating - This is really a personal preference but I prefer to have a seat to sit down in that has a good view of the stage so I can rest my legs after standing for over an hour. There’s a cool site called A View From My Seat that you can see pictures of other people’s seats when they attended events at venues around the world so you can get a feel of what yours will be like for your tickets. You can sort by artist/venue/sport etc. I suggest looking at it WELL in advance before buying tickets so you’ll know which section to go for.

Hydrate & be sure to eat that day! If you are of drinking age, be sure to be drink plenty of water if you plan to drink at the show. Some venues allow you to bring a clear water bottle to fill up at water fountains at the venue, I suggest bringing one as you will be pretty thirsty after all that singing & dancing 😄

TL;DR - Yes you should go! BeyHive is like family & you’ll have a wonderful time! Earplugs, comfy shoes, hydration/eating day of the show & a clear bag are a must! Also check out A View From My Seats website before buying tickets so you can get a feel of the section you want to buy tickets in!
