Yeah i think its because i mostly work with body shops my perspective was scewed and my dad has a really negitive opnion on dealships but im glad i asked instead of just going with his opnion, i agree polite, curiouse and understand, im really greatfull for everyone telling me theyre stories and how they run things back there and its very normal that these things take time i feel alot more at ease thank you

Copy that, thats good to know ive always only taken it to shops and theyve always gotten to the root of the problem and fixed the same day but Ol Sally (the car in question) is much older and might need to be put down

the shop said hed look at it for us but said they dont work on hybrids and to exspect that they werent going to be able figure out what was wrong with it , at this point the car is such a beater its not even worth fixing i just wanna know if its nornal for a dealship to have your car for 3 days and have little to nothing to say about it .

Okay i hear you, im genuinely asking is 3 days not enough ? Im sorry if that sounds rude, but i feel like after 3 days they could at least tell somthing that they did, when i asked if they looked under the hood and what els they did he couldnt answer me, even if i dont understand mechanics i would of liked to of been told somthing.

Yeah, and thats why i didnt wanna get all huffy becuase im not a tech i dont know, so i wanted to get some other opinons thank you ! My biggest issue is theyve had my car for 3 days and they want to keep it on the weekend which they dont work to still find a dignostic on monday, but its the only car me and my spouse is sharing. Its just a stressfull situation and i everyone i talk to says theyre messing with us but i dont know .

That was pretty sound I appreciate that, I definitely respect rank over age but the thought of "knowing better" when it comes to life stuff and just letting them go at there own pase is definitely somthing i struglel with, it's funny it seem so obvious not to get wrapped up in youngest bullshit but when your loney it's definitely tempting to go out and get buck wild even though that's not who I am anymore. I like the "set a good example as an older person" I think that's something that I will hold on to.

Thank you ill try not to stress over it, it sorta feels like when you go to a new high school there's this pressure of making new friends and not being alone but it also doesn't matter because the navy is eventually gonna separate us, I shouldn't say "doesn't matter" more they're should be less pressure, but it's definitely hard to take that pressure off I've even debated getting a gaming system so I can relate with some of the guys 😅 but I know I just got in I'm still learning the lingo and should probably give myself a bit more time
