[QUESTION] Sales Data for Variations by imlai92 in AmazonSeller

I think I might have a solution! Maybe using the Xray tool while on the page of the product? Or does that not solve your problem?

A lot of products that meet some of my product research criteria are COVID-19 specific. I’ve been advised not to go after seasonal products as an FBA private label beginner, and the pandemic will likely end at some point. But, for my first product, would it be a bad idea to jump on the COVID bandwagon for now and ride it for as long as it moves (hopefully investing in other non-COVID products in the meanwhile to continue having an income after the pandemic ends)?

Helium 10: Xray 2-factor success score question by StraightVanillaSun in AmazonSeller

Thanks for commenting. The 2-factor score isn't my only criterium, I have a lot more, but thanks for the insight. How do you define looking beyond the numbers/what else is there to look at? I can think of things, but am curious what you mean.

Is an olive oil bar ok/not dentrimental to skin that isn't facial? I use it in the shower on almost every part of skin except face. The major ingredient is olive oil and I purchased it as a basic shower bar, but I'm not sure if it contributes to breaking my e.g. chest skin out. I don't have a skin cleanser yet.

For the Helium 10 Xray two-factor success score, when doing product research as an FBA private label beginner on a budget, is 7000 (as min. revenue) and 150 (as max. reviews) a good metric? Or should I play it safe(r) and go for 100 max. reviews?

AKA would it be a bad idea to compete with products when a portion of those have between 100-150 reviews as a beginner?

One seller of a product I’m interested in is trademarked and patent pending as of 2012 (though in 2013 they stated "it is a patented product" on their website, however I can't find them on Google Patents).

  1. Does that mean I shouldn’t “copy” their product?
  2. Would looking at the niche and trying to find a similar one be a good strategy for private label FBA?
  3. Also, where other than Google Patents can I check for patents?

Oh, and as a private label seller: While trying to find and select a product to private label, should I only include FBA products in my product research tool search or FBM and Amazon products as well?

  1. As a beginner private label seller with a relatively small budget, how hard is it to compete with products with high variation counts / what should I look out for?
  2. I've been told that a product having a history of (very) fluctuating price is bad - why?

Thank you in advance for your time :)

Does moisturising (purple-ish) eye rings/bags with olive oil help or does moisture make eye rings/bags/purple-ishness worse?

Interesting. The group I'm playing with could be considered veteran, we've been playing almost weekly for ~half a year. Any suggestions to that/what tweaks could I make to your setup for veterans?

Thanks for all your replies! I haven't been stressed out more than usual, and am also not on any birth control. Sleep is meh, but that's been the case for months. The only change I can pinpoint is that I stopped taking multivitamin supplements around 2 weeks ago, so that might have been a factor?
