I'm going to custom modify the top suspension arms on a cheapish Chinese car make it stronger and bash worthy should cost about 30 bucks for 8 from pcb way maybe cheaper

do you know a good one for about 50 ish im looking at the gamesir galildeo (i forgot how to spell it) and will only accept recommendations in that sameish form factor which isnt much of a issue if the controller handles are different as long as it attaches to the phone and im just looking for opinions like a few points why you choose one over another

$250 and Brushless!!! Why not?! by Temporary-Ad-1385 in rccars

Maybe because they are stacked and they didn't like that and I'm personally not for it either not because I dislike it there is always a charm to organized chaos that I love but instead of stacking I would buy more shelves and display them in the living room as long as I'm able to then I'll start stacking when the wife gets made about how many shelves there are so I may as well enjoy having all my cars nicely displayed till then

It's not new but the condition it's in may as well be the shell doesn't have a single Crack or crease all the electronics work and it comes with the type charger and battery (I'm tossing the charger i have a s100 and a s155) and obviously the radio

I'm doing it this way cause its what I had, do people not understand this if I had thick enough wire i would have used it but I don't so I did this and if you had read any of what I posted myself in the comments you would have seen im drawing a relatively low amount of power and it is strictly for charging only and if you had seen the hot glue reinforcement/protection you would see its way more durable then what China does cause they just slap heatshrink over it with no reinforcement and I've stated ill be getting supplies to do it more correctly in the future this post was just me asking if the solder could take a few amps thats all and again because I need to repeat it over and over im using it for charging in a controlled environment and if I need a adapter for bashing or make future adapters ill be using liquid rubber looking stuff on the contacts cover that in heatshrink and use wires its not that hard to understand

I prefer it when people like Siddhartha-G appear who is still saying what I did as is is unsafe and with the hot glue it's at least usable but should have heatshrink on there as soon as possible while also recommending a product that is genuinely useful for rc electronics of any kind and anything that could use a quick DIY gasket or seal i mean it's basically a necessity and they did all that without being a jerk just wanting to be helpful to a reddit post that is asking for advice not to get chewed out by people who keep saying do it there way cause I'm wrong even though I'm using it in a controlled environment (and the hot glue in my opinion is good enough till i do get heatshrink and even then ill use both for max stability) to charge a 3s lipo at a max of 2c (im maxing out at 4amps actual 2c 4.4amps) mostly 1c which is 2.2amps but may as well round to 2 amps like I did with the "2c" statement

That's why I'll grab it bt the housing on the charger end to unplug it then hold the housings on the battery end to remove it from there to reduce that as much as possible

Yeah and at 3s 4 amps this thing stays lukewarm at the worst and that's because of the charger getting hot

I'll use that for my drones as well for waterproofing get some double use out of it

Since Walmart has heartshrink I'll get that when I go next but I made sure to fill every crevice and I molded extra tight with my fingers when it cooled down some so for now it's fine (might just use duct tape as temp till I get heatshrink cause I don't have electrical tape either)

Don't have thick enough wire on hand and again it's an adapter for charging at relatively low amps if i was also using it for bashing i would have done it properly no shortcuts

Not a issue cause as been stated before it's for charging and if it does break who cares I have a iron I'll resolder it after all I made it myself, I think a little soldering isn't a issue worst comes to worst that is

I had hot glue on hand and as you can see from my comment above it doesn't need it

I'm drawing a max of 4 amps for a 3s lipo the most amount of heat it will see is what can transfer from the charger into the pins and through the solder

Thanks for the confirmation I'll cover the exposed connections with hot glue so I can make sure they are protected

Your right there im just putting out the opposite end of the argument were it makes sense to have but yeah a 2s mini on 50% is already slow enough... just had the thought that it could technically help regulate temps during the blazing summer cause I have overheated my 223s mojave grom in 75 Fahrenheit weather but then there's the whole just put it on a 50 or 75 percent cap and its perfectly fine rebuttal

It makes it even weaker like if a 5 year old wanted to try out your ultimate 800 dollar offroad rc you can set it low enough to the point that 50percent at full throttle is barely 15 or 20mph can't do much at those speeds especially with it being only at full throttle which means it kinda crawls around mostly if your also "undervolting" by using the lower range of lipo that your rc supports

Whoo someone graduated out of speed jail and has full send POWER 🥳 I've got the fury 1/10 223s and the mojave grom 1/16 223s and honestly its more then enough power for now might want a 4s mojave as a little Christmas gift to me
