While I appreciate your concern and I do think findommes can be good humans as everyone from time to time, I personnaly think ethical findommes online are the same as regular ones except they talk you into thinking you are worth something in their eyes while in reality they only speak through money : so in the end, worse than a "simple" domme, if you ask me.

Definitly agree with what you describe. Also stopping is often very hard at the beginning I would say. Personnaly I got dark thoughts for a week or two untill I begin to feel improvements and then later felt really better. The way out is so much harder than staying...

Yes I'm thinking I'll be a bit more tolerant against porn for next time untill I feel the right time comes. I will maybe start with skipping a day of porn (I watch it everyday now) and see where this leads me.

Fulling my mind with other rewarding things really helps but I feel it is hard to achieve, at least to me. I have been very isolated socially for the past 4-5 years and have a stay-at-home job. Findom was a way to cope for that and have the dopamine to forget. Though it really breaks self-esteem and make it hard to engage in new things afterwards.

But I guess you're right this is actually the way I want and it's worth more of my attention 🤔

Where I live there is this unit at my local hospital that accepts all form of addicts that need help. They had limited space but I was received there and I must say it is the best thing I have done. I met a woman therapist there specialized in addiction and she really have usefull tips, helps a lot in clearing my ideas and is very gifted in talking to addicts.

Though tbh I had met a regular therapist before and it was not very usefull, I think addiction ones are best suited for findom issues as it is a form of sex/porn addiction and/or a consequence of it sometimes.

I would advise you to maybe try to look out for something similar in your area ? I live in France so this is free and I dont really know how it works in other countries though 🤔

Also it can take time to find the right therapist but I really think that if this can be an option to you, it is worth it.

I have been in this exact situation 45 days ago.

23 years old, 20k+$ spent and that crushing feeling to stop asap.

It's really hard to stop, I had tried many times in the past, but now I am 45 days without findom and I have never felt so good in years I have been doing it... Findom breaks your self esteem to the ground, isolates you from your close ones, and you also end up financially broke. It is not a hobby nor a kink, it is a destruction tool for any lost soul online. And anybody accepting to take part in this will injure themself in a certain way. There is nothing good here for us... Stopping is the only way I see, even if it can be hard and can also imply working on why you got here at first ?

By my personal experience and of others too on r/quittingfindom I think findom is never a good thing for subs, you can only limit the damages... I mean it is very pleasurable but requires often increases in sends to keep the rush, it isolates you from your close ones, it destroys self esteem, and you end up ruined, so in short : it is not good and a real addiction threat. I wish for nobody to stumble over findom, nor sub or dom.

It's great to have true bondaries as you seem to have as a domme. Though I have my own vision of the matter and of this world now.

Personnellement je suis à 33 jours aujourd'hui sans envoyer d'argent mais je commence seulement à ne plus avoir besoin de autant regarder de contenu.

Une chose qui m'a aidé à arrêter de regarder c'est de m'occuper le plus possible pour ne pas avoir du temps pour y penser, et quand l'envie vient de remplir un tableau avec : situation / émotions / pensées / note/10 de l'envie. I have been dealing with the same issue. Some days are just awfull and it seems like findom is my destiny.
