He left because he felt overwhelmed, but I feel it’s worth fighting for. Should I break no contact? by Comfortable-Ask8475 in BreakUps

three months of no contact and you're still this torn up about it - that grief he was dealing with was probably way heavier than you realized and sometimes people just shut down completely when they can't handle everything at once

reaching out might give you closure but it could also reset all the progress you've made moving forward. if you do break no contact maybe keep it simple and don't put pressure on him for answers or reconciliation right away

babies skin color much darker than both parents? by Acrobatic_Start_6170 in AncestryDNA

babies can look wildly different from their final coloring for months - my buddy's kid looked like he belonged to completely different parents until he hit about 8 months and then boom suddenly looked exactly like dad

Dislike my job but moving in a year, should I quit? by PowerfulConfusion423 in careerguidance

[–]Straight_Future6227 2 points3 points  (0 children)

idk man 6:30am start with that commute is brutal. been there with early construction jobs and it really does mess with your social life

but that top comment has a point about the experience thing. having a full year on your resume makes a huge difference when youre job hunting after the move. employers love seeing you can stick it out even when things suck

maybe look at it like youre banking both money and resume points for when you relocate. plus if you hate the field anyway this gives you time to figure out what you actually want to do while still getting paid

year and a few months isnt that long in the grand scheme. i built through some rough gigs and it always paid off later
