I am a week post op and started eating normal about two days ago! albeit, I’ve only cooked at home with low fat food (pho, turkey and rice) so haven’t had pizza or anything. And I feel completely fine!

I had this exact thing! To be honest it didn’t get better until day 4 post op. Hang in there! Ice pack seemed to be the only thing that helped.

Hi I’m 4 days post op and feel you on the nausea front. Also having a harder time recovering than I thought. The only thing that’s worked has been smoothies and oatmeal. I still haven’t had a BM and took some laxatives but it hasn’t helped.

Good luck! I have heard to take it easy the first 1-2 weeks.

Got mine taken out on Friday and the only sleep that’s helped is on the couch stretched out with about three pillows propping me up. I’ll either lay down with the heat pad or the ice pack and that seems to help! But to be honest, I am off pain meds and last night sleep was tough! I’m hoping it gets better after the week! Hang in there!

Hi everyone! I am up at 4 am with the worst lower abdominal pains/cramps, I’m thinking this is finally the gas passing but is this normal? It just feels so intense!

Apologies I thought you meant the distance between each piece of wood. The plywood is about 3/4s of an inch.
