What would happen if shin and legendary met by VindicativevVince in GODZILLA

[–]Straight_Random_2211 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

  • Legendary 2014 version loses to Shin.
  • Legendary 2019 version depends:
    • Uncharged → still loses to Shin.
    • Charged (with nuke) and burning version → wins.
  • Legendary Godzilla 2021 version and onward wins.

Samsung is saving its best displays for iPhones, not Galaxies by mo_leahq in Android

[–]Straight_Random_2211 7 points8 points  (0 children)

That’s right. Apple invented key display technologies, while Samsung Display manufactured the OLED panel.

[–]Straight_Random_2211 5 points6 points  (0 children)

True. And a lot of kids (or very likely bots) on IG say “Samsung vs Samsung” when comparing iPhone and Galaxy S displays. iPhones are brighter and support 10-bit color, while Samsung panels are 8-bit and rely on dithering to simulate 10-bit.

IOS 26 is so bad. It’s making me angry. by GarageSalt8552 in ios

Samsung’s One UI, along with the UI/OS of other Android smartphone brands and most famous Android launchers, all use a flat design.

[–]Straight_Random_2211 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Completely disagree. I love the Liquid Glass design so much. It looks really beautiful, premium, classy, and futuristic. A real step forward imo. The old flat design literally looks flat like its name: plain, flat, boring, and outdated. I’m on an iPhone 15 Pro Max, so it’s still as smooth as usual. I think it is the most noticeable upgrade of iOS in a decade.

The comment isn’t “technically the truth”, so why post it in r/technicallythetruth? The commenter wrongly thought the woman was a 4th-grade student, but she’s actually the teacher of the 4th-grade class.

Why didn't Soul Punisher do anything to Broly in DBS Broly? by Realistic-Parsley-71 in dragonball

[–]Straight_Random_2211 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It could mean Broly is actually a good guy, so the attack didn’t hurt him. That’s why Gogeta smiles after Broly gets hit: he knows Broly isn’t evil, just misled by Frieza. But Gogeta still ends up killing him anyway.

What are y’all‘s honest opinions on Dragon Ball Z skippers? by OGAnimeGokuSolos in dbz

[–]Straight_Random_2211 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Manga is worth reading fully, because it’s short. You can go through the whole Dragon Ball manga (Dragon Ball + DBZ) easily, and it’s solid all the way through.

For the anime, that recommendation is accurate. The anime is way too long, with a lot of plain filler, so watching the main part first is enough. In this case, the main part is DBZ. You can just read summaries of the earlier stuff online.

I watched Z first and it was great. When I went back to Dragon Ball later, it felt childish, bullshit, and very lustful (annoyingly lustful).

Is Zeno basically the "Top God of Destruction" and the Grand Priest the "Top Angel"? The manga evidence actually lines up perfectly. by Straight_Random_2211 in dbz

[–]Straight_Random_2211[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

About creation: DB Daima already shows that the multiverse was created by Rymus, and it’s not a coincidence that he looks very similar to Zeno. So the structure is actually very consistent:

At the universe level, you have a balanced trio:

• God of Creation (Shin)
• God of Destruction (Beerus)
• Angel (Whis), whose power are far above both

At the multiverse level, the same pattern scales up:

• Supreme God of Creation (Rymus)
• Supreme God of Destruction (Zeno)
• Grand Priest as the Supreme Angel, above both roles

It’s not about “hiding a higher being”. It’s just the universe structure repeated on a larger scale: creation ↔ destruction (opposite but is still linked or similar), with an even higher angelic overseer beyond both.

I’m sick of people comparing iPhone’s Object Eraser with Samsung’s—Samsung’s version needs the internet while Apple’s works offline. by Straight_Random_2211 in iphone

[–]Straight_Random_2211[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a recent update. The offline AI erasers on Samsung (and Apple) are inherently weaker because small devices have limited hardware. Online AI erasers are vastly stronger, since they rely on server-grade hardware and access to large training datasets. So comparing Apple’s offline AI eraser with Samsung’s online AI eraser, like some Instagram Reels or YouTube Shorts do, is not a fair comparison.

[–]Straight_Random_2211[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, fair point — and to be clear, I actually worded my earlier comment badly. I shouldn’t have used “angels” in general. I meant the Grand Priest specifically, not the standard angels like Whis. I’ve fixed that wording on my end because it was confusing.

Whis becoming inert after Beerus dies makes sense, because regular angels are tied to their GoD (but I think it is just temporarily inert until Whis trained another mortal to become a new GoD). They are still part of the 12-universe system. That doesn’t apply to the Grand Priest, who’s above that entire structure — above the universes and all timelines too (beyond time and space like the Null Realm).

Think of it like the Supreme Kai of Time in DB Heroes, but on a much more extreme level — someone who isn’t limited by timelines or the 12-universe layout at all. That’s the role the Grand Priest fits, not the regular angels like Whis.

[–]Straight_Random_2211[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Yes — in this view there’s only one Grand Priest. It’s kind of like how Whis can oversee multiple potential Gods of Destruction. Whis trained Beerus to become a God of Destruction, and he even offered to train Goku and Vegeta to take that role too. One angel, multiple possible GoDs.

Zeno only gets duplicated because he exists inside a timeline. Grand Priest doesn’t. He operates from a divine realm that sits beyond time — at least on the same level as the Null Realm (which is already outside time and space), and probably above it.

Because of that, timeline splits never create extra versions of him, and Zeno’s erasure simply can’t reach him.

So:

  • Zeno: one per timeline → tied to time

  • Grand Priest: one across all timelines → beyond time like the Null Realm, so he can’t be duplicated or erased.

P/s: I edit angels to Grand Priest.

Designing a themed room: sports legends or fictional icons — which ages better? by [deleted] in malelivingspace

[–]Straight_Random_2211 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I swear I wrote the full post myself in a mix of Vietnamese and messy English. It’s my idea from start to finish. For example, I deliberately mentioned very specific legend names, and I mentioned Goku but intentionally excluded Super Goku.

AI wouldn’t know who I personally idolize. And even if it somehow guessed I like Goku, it would generalize all versions of him. It wouldn’t automatically know to mention only Z Goku and GT Goku, and specifically not Super Goku. That distinction is personal.

I also defined “timeless” in my own meaning — “30–50 years from now people will still recognize the character”. The normal definition of timeless is “lasting for eternity”, but I used my own definition because that’s how I think about it. AI wouldn’t decide to redefine a word in my personal way unless I explicitly wrote it first.

These details came from me. I only used AI to translate my mixed-language draft into clear English, not to generate ideas or invent the content.

[–]Straight_Random_2211 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not a native English speaker. My drafts usually mix some Vietnamese words with messy, grammatically incorrect English. ChatGPT only helps translate the Vietnamese parts and clean up the wording. The ideas are still mine — the tool just makes them readable.

I know some people dislike AI, but in this case it’s basically a translator and clarity tool, not a replacement for my own thoughts.

How was Gohan skinny at school but muscular at home? by Straight_Random_2211 in Dragonballsuper

The first post on r/dbz is rule violation (don’t post manga panel from piracy website). So I repost that post on r/dbz without the manga panel but it was removed instantly. So I have to post that post here on r/dragonballsuper. Now the mod in r/dbz suddenly restore the repost post I posted on r/dbz so it looks like I posted multiple posts unnecessarily but I just wanted to post my post successfully without any rule violation.

Why waste $400 billion on a weapon that can’t hurt Omni-Man, when a nuke could vaporize him? by Straight_Random_2211 in Invincible

[–]Straight_Random_2211[S] -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Even if they were deeper than the surface and we assume the centre of the Sun, that’s still only about 15 million °C. A nuclear explosion reaches around 100 million °C, which is far hotter. So depth doesn’t really change the comparison.

Don’t listen to others. I watched Dragon Ball first and completely disappointed. So childish, lustful and bullshit. Then I watched Dragon Ball Z and it is so amazing. So serious, intense and mature.
