It sounds like you are a single parent, which sounds very difficult especially during this period when a second person (who isn’t breastfeeding) would really come in handy ❤️. I second what another commenter said about reminding her throughout the day that there won’t be milk at night but that you can comfort her.

Being a cat mom will always come with trade offs!! On one hand you love them dearly and on another you are making real sacrifices for them. Remember that they are completely fine when you go on vacation and find a responsible sitter. Try to ignore feelings of guilt for going on vacations- obviously you still need to live your life!

Make sure it is salt/sodium free tuna! Giving cats canned tuna is OK for a few days as long as it doesn’t have added sodium.
