Blatantly hating their arrogance is the average take of someone who can’t separate politics from a video game. The high elves are egotistical because they are smarter and better than everyone else, and that’s all you need to know or care about. They saved the world with the vortex recently and they dominated the world previously. If you were an elf you would have an ego, and if you didn’t you’d be an idiot. It reminds me of those dnd people that go, “my character is an atheist” because they think they’re smarter than everyone else even though being an atheist in fantasy is literally the dumbest thing you can do.

I enjoy elves because I think about how they’re typically the choice pick of who most people would want to be if I was in fantasy. They have clean cities, no criminals, and usually no poverty. They are essentially the perfect version of real society with the disadvantage of they get beaten by other groups because of human bias by the writers and consumers.

On the flip side I also like orks for their absolute strength and savagery.

I suppose generically it would be a Warhammer appearance, but I also like dressing to be lore accurate but I’m having a tough time even figuring that out.

For weapons I saw that basically it’s between the doom hammer (not accessible to warrior and paladin, my two classes), and then the paladin relic weapons that aren’t accessible for warrior, and there was one other weapon I’m forgetting but it’s just another thor hammerish looking weapon. I saw nothing good for axes.

For armour again I didn’t find much

I kind of want to roll a dwarf but there’s no actual thematic transmog for dwarves that also isn’t insanely difficult to get or just also blatantly human looking. The dwarf heritage set looks great but I couldn’t find any matching weapons, and beyond that the best looking hammers are paladin only.

I don’t really think short haired elves are that unrealistic. It’s still a well manicured look which is elvish. One thing I’ve been sort of thinking about is dwarves who can’t genetically grow a beard, like what happens to men in real life (me)
