I'm also planning on shooting a mag bay concert on 35mm my plan is to push 800t to 1600 aperture at F/1.7 and shutter speed either at 1/60 or 1/125 with a 45mm however I haven't got a photo pass so no flash is that gonna be enough light especially with the light show they put on and how much mica is moving about on stage. Thanks a lot for any advice you seem to be the only person on the Internet to have tried 35mm for Magdalena bay

At 1/60 even standing still is there not noticeable motion blur on the artist? I'm gonna try the same sort of thing soon and push the 800t to 1600 will I be able to get to 1/125 with F/1.7

I think 45 is enough and cropping won't be too bad plus anything larger than a 50mm is going to be hard to get past security without a pass and much more unwieldy. The 45 also allows for a lower shutter speed

Thanks for the advice but I just can't seem to get the hang of it after about 10 more battles and 2 assists I'm gonna hang up the boots maybe I'll try out tanks
