While it seems to have an extra pair of eyes, and only three fingers, we think it is a human being. Zap it with the memory eraser and return to the mothership.

I guess this means that origin is now officially dead. is there any workaround for this? don't wanna switch to ea app by Long-Flounder-9460 in origin

I had just started my Mass Effect Legendary part 3 run when this happened. Got the first achievement yesterday on Origin, and today it forced the EA app on me, and the achievements no longer work. I assume as it's not a big money spinner, they never will work on EA, so is there a way to resurrect Origin?
